Honestly with no doubt in my mind the best and most honest lawyer I have yet to come by. When it comes to the law he knows his stuff. Always there and fast at filing motions when they are needed. He has helped not only myself but my family members as well in court matters. He pushes to get you what is rightfully yours. He has no problem giving honest advice and won't fill your head with crap. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Back in 2006 and 2007 he stepped in and took charge of my probate case, after being fleeced by two other attorneys for over $30K. He settled my case within weeks and got one of the other attorneys to reduce their invoice based on her incompetency. Have referred him to a few friends and they were impressed with his knowledge and skills.

"Honorable isn't so Honorable" Now that he is a judge he is by far the most unprofessional judge I've ever seen. During pre-trail, he scolded me like a child, then threatened to throw me in jail (being a first time offender) after I withheld my daughters visitation with her father because she came home with a 4in long scrape on her leg and saying "daddy pushed me down". He even scolded me in front of the entire court room for faxing documents to the court fax number and for also attempting to raise my hand to speak. After praying about it & giving it to GOD, we settled out of court. My only prayer for him now is that he be taken out of office & that the good Lord use this oppportunity to humble him and straighten him out to become a decent human being! The worst judge ever Ever EVER!

this guy failed to represent his client and did not attend a summary judgment hearing and failed to inform his client! He never filed a motion to withdraw from the case, at least this would have provided his client notice to secure a competent attorney. case 360698 probate court in houston. do not hire this person and now he is a Judge for Galveston County; maybe a recall of the election is in order.

Do the research. This lawyer/judge has judgments against him for malpractice, filing frivolous lawsuits and attorneys fees. He has been sanctioned by the bar and put on probation for false advertising. He currently has another malpractice claim against him and there's no doubt more to come. He seals most cases so the public can't find out. Search the Galveston County public records if you want the facts about this attorney/judge.

Did not return phone calls. Waited until the last moment to present documents. Waited until the last moment to request information to prepare documents. Mislead us in regards to the merit of the case. Definitely not worth his rather high fee. Would only recommend him to my opposition in court so I could certainly win.
-My case was two years ago. Prior to his divorce and his election to judgeship. God help the people that present cases in his court.

Beyond great. Even the judge and opposing counsel commented on how good he was. I was very thankful to have him represent me. After seeing the other reviews, I can only imagine that you can't please everyone.

Lawyers like Christopher Dupuy is what gives attorneys a bad name. He is absolutely terrible in Court, only you don't know that until you actually are in Court and so embarassed because you hired this guy. His records show he was suspended from the bar. Why wouldn't he defend himself. I am not an ex-wife or friend of an ex-wife. I am an ex client who is stilling feeling the repercussions of his lack of skills.

After thorough research I retained Mr. Dupuy. I'm glad I did. First, the negative ratings are all attributable to a disgruntled ex wife of his & her friends. Mr. Dupuy is beyond thorough, his trial preparation kicked ass, and my divorce ended with myself taking far more than what was ever offered. Top notch attorney. First class work. I'd use him over & over again.

In my opinion, Christopher Dupuy is the most unscrupulous attorney I have ever met. I just saw that he is serving a 6 month probated suspension...see www.texasbar.com Go To Find a Lawyer, then click on his name and scroll down....Don't hire!
