I am very disappointed...i should have read reviews about this law firm before i hired them.I paid in full for what should have been a simple guardianship case,and after a year it is still not taken care of.All they care is about getting your money.Beware!they don't even act like they care about helping you.Cory Blalock didn't even bother to show up in court;he instead sent some rookie/student lawyer who was not prepared for the hearing at all.long story short:i paid a lot of money for a simple case,and after a year plus they withdrew from the case and doubled the bill.they are a scam!they did not take their time to ask enough questions about my case,but they did make sure i paid in full upfront.I also believe they intentionally don't ask for paperwork upfront so they can ask you for them later...why? because they have to reschedule you for another hearing,which is extra money they ask for;they have to communicate with you,which again extra money in their pocket.all they care is money

Horrible, horrible! Refuses to answer questions, never appears in court himself. He withdrew because "I was too emotional regarding my ex's lies" - translated "I have no clue what I am doing, so find someone else!" I paid in full, in fact, they OWE me money which I will never see. Stay as far away from this "attorney" and his firm as you can!

Cory is not a good attorney, he does not activity communicate and he does not seem to have his client's best interest in mind. The one thing that Cory is good at is BILLING. During my engagement with him I tried to lay out a strategy (since i know my ex), however Cory wanted to do something different. Since he was supposedly the "professional", I followed his direction. Unfortunately that was totally the wrong direction as it ended up drawing out the case and costing me twice as much. I asked Cory to withdraw from my case and retained another attorney. If you are looking for an attorney that values your opinion and cares about clients, KEEP LOOKING!

He does not respond to my questions or concerns even after asking the same questions several times. He allowed the withdrawal of funds from my disabled son's bank account after being provided proof that the account was in no way my account but solely my son's for the direct deposit of his SSI checks & he was the only one making withdrawals from this account. I do not feel that Mr. Blalock's actions have represented me in that, it seems, that all he has done is shuffle papers from my wife's attorney and/or the court to me & back again. He has informed me that he has filed discovery papers with the court & when asked for details, he has ignored my request for more info. My son, who relys solely on his SSI income now has no money, plus he is obligated for a withdrawal and overdraft fees, as of now, total $130.00. He cannot afford this loss & Mr. Blalock has made me destitute as well. I have extremely strong feelings that my interests are not being duly considered in this divorce action.
