I had a previous experience with a DUI attorney 5 years ago. I felt like I was just a case number and a paycheck. My experience with John Hunsucker just the opposite. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst, my DUI situation started out at an 8. By the day before my final hearing it was a 4. John didn't stop there. He fought for me right through the final hearing and I came away with a 2 on the pain scale. It always pays to hire an expert for a job that requires an expert. I consider his fee quite reasonable when compared to what an alternate outcome would have cost in money, drivers license loss, and a negative criminal record. John's knowledge of DUI law, attention to detail, confidence, punctuality and pleasant personality could give lawyers a good name. For DUI trouble, who ya gonna call?...........John Hunsucker.

The only time I ever actually talked to him was the initial call. Every time after that was either with his secretary or another lawyer.
After paying $5,000 I ended up getting exactly what I would have without a lawyer. 6 months loss of license, 18 months of interlock device, $40/month for 2 years to the DA, and $1,000 fine.
Cost me $200 in gas to go to court the first time and his other lawyer ended up being an hour late and made me look like an idiot in front of the DA.
On top of all of that he wanted to charge me an additional $400 to set up a hearing regarding the interlock device and being able to get my license back sooner. Needless to say I declined this generous offer.
It took about 11 months before my license was actually taken away. In the end a public defendant would have been better because I could have save a lot of money and had my license back a lot sooner.

Great Attorney!!! Says what he'll do and actually going out and doing it!! Which is not very common in the field of DUI attys. He came highly recommended and delivered on all fronts. I will recommend him and have in the past. To my knowledge everyone I've sent to him has been nothing but very satisfied with his services.

First and only DUI, first and only trouble I have ever been in. When I first met with John, I was sold, he had all these great stories of how good my chances were of beating this charge. Next thing I know -I have a case manager that I have to direct all of my inquiries through, all I can do is ask my case manager any ?'s & wait for her return call(usually a few days later). The couple of times I go to court it is with one of his associates in is office(not him). I was disappointed to learn I was a client of his "law firm" and depending on who knows what, it was a guess of who would be representing me at court any day. From day 2 when I paid half the fees and signed agreement to be pif in 3 months, the chances of this charge being beaten or reduced completely went away. I have a friend on his 3rd DUI that received less penalties/probation and community service than me, and paid about half of what I paid for lawyer. Kudos to John for letting me down, attaboy!

The previous poster must be another lawyer that is jealous of John's successes. I had a DUI in 2008 and John tried my case and I was found not guilty. John is the only guy to see if charged with DUI. Does the previous poster really think that people will believe that John pled every case to the maximum for two years? Interesting that the posting was in 2011 for a time frame of 2007-2009. Even more interesting is that John's two other prior ratings before his are from 2009 (the time frame that poster says John pled everyone to the max) and that both of those ratings are all 5s and talk about the reat job John did for them.

I had my 4th DUI and knew I was going to prison. John saved my butt. He got my breath test kicked out and the rest is history. I walked free. He is my hero. He never quits.

John represented my son on his DUI. John took the time to explain everything in terms we could understand. After we hired him, John was able to keep my son's drivers license and got the charge completely dismissed. You can't go wrong with hiring the Hunsucker firm.
