We paid this guy $5000 for what we hoped would be good representation. What we got was worth about $300. He almost never returned calls, even the week before sentencing. He was distracted and disinterested when we did meet. He didn't even know the Indiana Code information regarding house arrest vs. probation. I did my homework and when I told him that I thought something he was saying was in conflict with the code, he said...and I quote..."Oh really? Hmmmm....I will have to look at that." I will have to look at that? He is a criminal defense attorney meeting with a client just 3 days before his client's sentencing (after not returning 6 phone messages left during that week) and he didn't know anything about the code? We feel completely ripped off. At the sentencing, the prosecutor was on her game. All Zachary would do is sit there and barely say anything. No standing up for his client, nothing. I feel like he owes me $4700. Be forewarned, folks,and steer clear of this guy.
