Very happy with my lawyer. He truly cares about his clients. I was personally recommended to him by several people that were very happy with him. He is and has been known as one of the best lawyers around. I understand that most of his referrals come from word of mouth.

Dan has done extremely well by me. I too am a lawyer and I know he knows family law. What some people don't seem to understand is that family law is ugly. The judges aren't always fair and sometimes the law isn't fair. That is why you hire an advocate. Another reality is that it costs money and sometimes a lot of money. If you expect someone to work hard for you then you should expect to pay. I did and it was worth every dime. I trusted him with the things that are most important to me and would reccomendations him without any reservations. There are countless people that feel the same but the ones that are angry seem to make the most noise. Many people have unreasonable expectations, don't listen to advice, and refuse to be accountable. Again, Cantrell is a good lawyer and a good guy. I trust him and that is what is most important in hiring a lawyer. Talk to him and decide for yourself.

Mr Cantrell is very good at what he does! He knows the law, but more importantly, he knows how to make money! And the money he makes is off his clients. Mr Cantrell is concerned about his clients - in their ability to keep paying him! I've been engaged with Mr Cantrell for 9 months now. He won't return calls, he has no interest in saving his clients money by discussing things on the phone or in his office. Why? It makes him so much more to go to court! Seriously, I can believe how this guy can burn money! If I sound angry it is because I am. Mr Cantrell is very cheesy at the courthouse, calling out the clerks by name and asking about their pets, and dancing around the courthouse like it is HIS tennis club. And, if you are interested in burning money then I do recommend him, and he will get the job done for you, but at your expense. He is like the rolls royce of attys - very expensive to own and maintance, but in the end you will get what you are after.

I hired Daniel Cantrell a year ago and was and still am very happy with the work he does. I can attest to his excellence in service, as well as the dozens of friends I have that hired him before me and at least a dozen I referred to him. He does his work with the best of intentions and I have witnessed him change peoples lives for the better, as he truly cares about his clients. Whoever is posting this crappy review clearly isn't his client or probably didn't pay him. If they make another posting I will post a list of over 25 people's names (with their approval) that he is a stand up lawyer..and he was also nominated in Super Lawyers Magazine for 2009 and 2010 A's a rising star attorney.

Interesting...I wrote a truthfully negative review a few months ago, and it 'disappeared.' Huh. Daniel obviously has a history of saying that he will file papers and then bailing. He did the same to me over a QDRO. He waited until he spent my retainer and then stopped working, taking my calls, etc. This totally left me in a bind. The scary part about this is, when we were in a settlement conference, the Judge made sure to tell me what a "good" lawyer I had, right before giving everything to my ex-husband. BTW, I was a stay at home mom for over 20 years. I gave Daniel a 3 for Knowledge only because he certainly knows how to take care of himself. Shameless!

#2 must be the attorney rating himself, trying to cover up his unethical conduct. Post #1 cannot be the "other side" unless Mr. Cantrell actually represents one party instead of being the "unbiased" mediator he was appointed to be.

Daniel Cantrell won't return phone calls and won't do the paperwork. My ex and I STIPULATED to a new child support order months ago. Daniel Cantrell was supposed to write up the order. He never did. Child support arrears are more than $6,000 because of his inaction. I guess now I have to hire ANOTHER attorney to finish the job he never bothered to. Meanwhile, those arrears keep piling up.

Not the cheapest, but easily one of the best. The bogus rating was NOT from a client, but from someone on the other side of a case who didn't like his recommendations to the court.
