Lacks diligence, doesn’t know the law. Did not send me an invoice for over two years. Fired for poorly representing me. Ruined my case. Was directly asked prior to settlement if he intended to claim fees. Did not say so, but contacted opposing counsel and represented he had a lien. Overpriced. Did not know what he was charging, what invoices were sent and what was paid. Manufactured an invoice after I settled my case. Sued me. Served me by publication in Jewish News (I’m Asian) then attempted to collect a default judgment. His original damage value included nearly $10,000 of fees that had been paid. Refused for over two years to have the uncontested amount released. Stated to the Bar that the accounting deficiencies were due to his bookkeeper taking another job when she was the paralegal assisting with his lawsuit.
