This year marks 10 YEARS Bob has been my lawyer. I wouldn't want anyone else by my side representing me or my son. He is great at his job, he cares, he is straight forward and compassionate. Obviously, needing a lawyer for sooo many years, my case has not been an easy one. It has been messy and complicated. Bob has handled every step with top notch knowledge and professionalism. I highly recommend Bob and his staff.

Mr. Barrasso has represented me for over eight years. I know his representation is full of integrity and he genuinely cares about my children. It is also notable to me that he remains calm and professional under pressure. I feel that we got the best outcome possible for our family at this time, and I am grateful for Mr. Barrasso's work and commitment to us.

Bob Barrasso has handled our children's custody and child support for 8 years. He is my fourth and final lawyer. He is smart, efficient, and knows the right questions to ask to get to the heart of the matter. With custody, just when I think all is calm, something happens to ruffle feathers. Mr. Barrasso is there to help every time. He might be more expensive, but his efficiency makes up for it. Highly recommend him. Very satisfied with all aspects of this attorney.

Mr. Barrasso is very smart and a good strategist. He is a bit sloppy, perhaps he has too many cases. I don't know but for 350/hr I would like him to remember important details of my case and my children's names. He forgot or misspoke several times when communicating with opposing party and it was embarrassing and awkward to have to correct the information. He is also curt at times, , as others have mentioned, which is not pleasant but I can live with that. He got me a reasonable outcome and the bill was fair - despite his high-ish hourly rate. I'm not 100% happy with the resprentation due to the forgotten facts of the case - but otherwise he was good and he really does seem to care about the kids.

Robert is an extremely good lawyer. I had switched to him a week before my custody trial. He does have the child's best interest in mind first and for most and off ten remind me of this throughout the torment my sons father had been putting me though with the custody case. He sees the big picture which in my option now is really what matters most (being in a heated custody battle I was very caught up in the details, which I see now really worked against me on a personal level). He achieved my success of wining sole custody and had an extraordinary amount of tact throughout the trial even though my ex's attorney didn't. I really respect that! He is one of the few lawyers I met (and I saw at least 6) that does truly try and keep your wallet in mind:-) I would and have recommended him to anyone that is in need of a no-nonsense attorney.

Robert Barrasso handled our divorce case in a very professional and courteous manner. He was very accommodating in regards to our tight time frame and the office staff worked diligently to make sure all the papers were filed on time. Everything ran smoothly and calls were promptly returned. I would highly recommend Mr. Barrasso to handle any legal matter as his attention to detail and professional manner are second to none.

Poor communication. Lack of respect for following time lines. Constant mistakes. Doesn't follow through. Would not recommend to anyone who wants anything done in a timely fashion. Preoccupied..always in a rush. Doesn't give clients fair amount of attention for what they pay. Office staff makes continueous mistakes. Feel sorry for anyone who spends ANY money retaining Mr. Barasso. Needs to retire!!

I retained Robert for a change of custody. I need not tell you that dads typically don't end up with their children unless something is very wrong with mom. Well in my case, mom had no drug problems, no domestic violence, and she was married to a person with a good income. Robert was able to systematically pick apart and exploit all of moms damaging qualities, including contantly moving our child around from one state to another. Robert is passionate about helping his clients, and he will fight for what is best for the child. Another rare quality Robert exhibits is the fact that he is always looking to keep his clients cost at a minimum while all the while he leaves nothing to chance. Robert listens well, but he is quick to cut you off if your discussion tends to wonder off course. This style at first may rub people wrong, but believe me it is designed to quickly cover facts and not waste your money.I won custody of my child. No outcome is guaranteed, but increase your odds with Robert.

Worked very hard to make sure that I had good visitation with my 3 year-old son. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Bob. He was extremely sensitive to my unique needs, yet very aggressive when needed. Because of Bob, I now have good parenting time with my child. Fathers have rights, too!

Barrasso is a sloppy lawyer who leads with his ego. He will do anything necessary to win his case. He is not concerned with professionalism, ethics, or the truth. So, if you aren't concerned about integrity and want to win your case at any cost, this is the lawyer for you. $350 an hour is a small price to pay for a guaranteed win.

Very knowledgeable and one of the fairest lawyers I have ever met. Very easy to talk with, and I feel I get value for my money. He strives for fairness for all parties, expecially the kids.

1. Did not return calls within 2 days. 2. Did not follow through in a timely manner on small and big things that he promised to do--had to be told repeated of what he had told me. 3. Overcommitted. Disorganized response to case appeared to result from his case load. 4. Re-scheduled two appointments without notifying me of the change. I left work and showed up--he was not there. 5. Poorly organized office and surly office staff. A call to his office provided no answers because even his wife, who was the receptionist, did not have his calendar. 6. Poor communicator. When I finally got appointments with him, he was often distracted by other matters. He seldom looked at me when we spoke and he frequently did not answer my questions regarding fundamental matters such as explaining his appoach to my case. 7. He talked down to me repeatedly and when I challenged him regarding his poor communication he said that I was the only customer he had ever had to complain(!).
