Hired Mr. Dye to oversee a home purchase. His fee was $1,500. The home I was interested in was cancelled almost immediately due to the contractor not having a license. I asked for a refund. Mr. Dye refused saying I could use it for a different matter. I was advised by the State Bar of Arizona to file a complaint, but never did, thinking he would refund it, which he never did. Will never again hire someone and pay them 100% up front for work they have not done, ever. If someone is ethical and knowledgeable, he or she will show their skills and not be afraid they won't get compensated.
