I had a DWI charge according to Mark who was looking at the police report right in front of me. After the great reviews on the internet I decided to go with him. My first offence ever. I was told that we had a chance at winning if I provided him some information from the Dr. I tried several times to contact him via phone/email and lovely receptionist. Days would go by without hearing from him. The stress I was under from this offence and no reply back for days/weeks. I fired him and went to another lawyer and to my surprise I did not have one charge but two??!! How did he miss this? Please look for another lawyer unless you want to hand him your hard earn money. My new lawyer was AMAZING and helped me get the lowest possible fine.

Mr. Wasyliw is a thief and a bad lawyer. We were charged 3x ($35) for sending him the same text message 3x. Literally a one line text of eight words, "When are we getting together to meet you?" He never responded and so we sent it a second and third time. Each send cost us $35. And that was the least of the crap this guy did. He did not know the law and he victimized us repeatedly.

I hired mark for my case . charged 2 time for care and control dui. after initial contact sent retainer. dec 2016. went to court 3 times since. little contact.november 14 2017 trial. quiet at first. then boom. destroyed arresting officers credibility. ( I was stuck in a ditch 40 ft off road. called for a ride and flatdeck tow. received a vac-ruck with tow strap. sober when I went in ditch. hrs many hrs later retuned to truck to wait for tow and ride. rcmp showed up same time as my ride/tow. sent them away . arrested me for over limit 3 time care and control. mark finnaly defended. did great job. all charges dropped. might have less than perfect commuinication but these guys are busy.

I wouldn't recommend this lawyer or his law firm to the public. Doesn't return calls, won't respond to letters, can't find your files. Pick another lawyer and law firm.

I heard amazing things and made the mistake of hiring him. He lost my case, which should have been a slam dunk. Besides that there was no communication whatsoever, I had to send email after email, call after call. No updating at all. In trial I was shocked at the subpar job. I could have represented myself better. IT was done and over with... SO I THOUGHT. 3 years later, there was a "accounting error" and he wanted 1600 more. WTF? I had letters to prove I paid, there was NO CONTRACT, please beware of this and to make matters worse he had cashed post dated cheques early and had the nerve to tell me that we were not charged bank fees. LOL why? YOU clumsily handle cash why would I have to pay for that. Statement of account is a joke, no detail and you don't know what you pay for. May have to head to small claims, but I should win, he is a thief, liar and completely unethical.

Mark Wasyliw is the best lawyer anyone can ask for. He knows all the right situations an posible ways of helping someone who is sinking he will reach out for you. He is a a 10.

Mark is great at getting people into his office for a retainer fee...after that..good luck to you...he doesn't even return calls ...he is horrible.
