I have worked with Jennifer for 7 years in my complex divorce. Jennifer has always been available and responsive to my calls and and emails. The children’s best interests have been first and foremost, and I’ve always known what to expect at each stage of the process. Jennifer’s background in social work provides an extra layer of understanding to a difficult process. I would recommend her to anyone seeking guidance in the family court system.

I was referred to Jennifer through a friend at a time when I was extremely vulnerable. I was fighting for custody of my only child. There were many complications in my case. My ex and I lived 6 driving hours apart. During custody hearings, Jennifer brought binders full of case law supporting our case. She was confident, professional, and supported me 100%. One visit happened over Christmas holidays and went very badly. I was very very upset by events during the visit and called Jennifer on the holidays. She answered and immediately changed visitation arrangements so that future visits were scheduled at a proper visitation location with trained supervisors. I KNOW that it was Jennifer's passion and focus on the important elements of my case that resulted in a sole custody award to myself. I thank her every day that I kiss my daughter goodnight and know that we are both safe. I would never trust my family's safety to anyone else.

Separation is stressful, especially when there are children involved. I was referred to Jennifer through a couple of people that knew her reputation for doing what is best for the children. This was of course my primary concern so that made my decision easier. I was very nervous going to the consultation but left feeling much more relaxed about the whole thing. Her approach was exactly what I wanted/needed. Taking the softer way in order to minimize the fighting and the huge costs and stress that go with a more aggressive approach. She responds to my concerns right away when I need advice. I am so thankful I found her and know that she is doing what's best for my family in this difficult time. She is very knowledgable, a great listener, and cares for her clients.

I really agree with previous posters. Jennifer knows her stuff but attention to detail, focus and communication are terrible, making her poor counsel in my opinion. More than once had the experience of waiting two weeks to hear back on a minor detail and got, "oh, I thought I responded already." Often latches on to incorrect facts and won't let go, having to recheck her work is exhausting.

Ms.Shuber was opposing counsel in my case. Despite her claim of being skilled in mediation, she eliminated any chance that my ex and I had of settling. Her biased, unfair and unprofessional demeanor was a true liability. Her tactics were unscrupulous and failed to elicit the needed co-operation that was required to settle the case. If you are looking to spend thousands of dollars at a trial rather than settling..hire Ms. Shuber...she is sure to not disappoint.
