What a scumbag! Went with Woods for a flat fee offer to handle an HOA issue and he never followed up like he was supposed to despite many false promises. Case just dragged on despite my constant pushing Roger for updates. He would rarely respond and was not truthful when he did. And then to find he is disbarred without any communication....left me hanging. Should have trusted my instincts and bailed on this liar a long time ago.

Very dangerous person to deal with. con artist to levels unbelevable. took $2800 knowing he was disbarred. he need a criminal attorney himself.

what an unreliable crook. retained him in 2014 and have nothing positive to say. Was supposed to stop garnishment..didnt. was supposed to track down someone to summons...couldnt find them but i did through FB. Allegedly filed papers with justice court..."lost paperwork". Ask for ALL the money i paid back... looses ability to practice!!! not to mention he doesn't answer emails or calls! FML anybody else trying to sue this crook!?

HE OWES ME MONEY! SO IT IS EASY TO SAY THAT THIS IS RUNNING HIM UNDER THE BUS! BUT IT IS NOT! I TOLD HIM THAT I COULD HELP HIMSELF BY HANDLING SOME DEBT ISSUES AND HE COULD WORK OFF HIS BILL. HE AGREED AND DID EXACTLY WAS EVERY OTHER PERSON SAID HE DID...NOTHING! HE IS DISBARRED NOW! GOOD LUCK COLLECTING ANYTHING HE MAY OWE! WHAT A JOKE FOR SUCH A NICE PERSON SO I THOUGHT...WRITTEN BU NILS OWNER OF GSPS, LLC. SO DISAPOINTED! (MY SPELLING SUCKS.....FYI)

Well... Roger is an experienced atty. He knows the Law very well. Its his execution that concerns me. Because of the way he structures payments (which is very good for the client), I tried to not be so bothersome. BUT, he seems to not be very well organized and I had to remind him and do my follow up work in order to get things done in time. Im really stuck, cause I really appreciate being able to afford an atty and fight back against my HOA. I just wish Roger was a bit more on top of things and more efficient. I'd say in the end, its worth it cause he does allow us to fight back. Maybe he was a bit overwhelmed with too much work while I had dealings with him. He is not like most attys that answer their phone cause they are anxious to charge you for a phone call. Actually its impossible to reach him by phone and I can understand with his fee structure that he doesn't want to have to hold hands with all his clients and not get paid for the time on the phone.
Anyway Mr Wood, I honest

Roger's claim to be 'aggressive' was only true when it came to forcing us into a settlement which another Lawyer described as the equivalent of 'dropping all your claims'. He insisted at the start that we would be settling all of our claims "In Court / In front of a Judge"; but it became obvious soon thereafter that this was never going to happen and he was going to make sure it didn't happen. He would go through extended periods of never returning calls or e-mails; and would only take action towards our case at the very last possible day -usually right before a scheduled event or appearance that could not be rescheduled. If J. Roger Wood brings up the suggestion for 'Arbitration' at any point during your case: firmly refuse. Keep records of what he said before and compare it to what he says later. The story will change gradually and constantly. A scared puppy would have been more aggressive for our cause in 'Arbitration' than J. Roger Wood was. If you haven't hired him yet -don't.
