if it were possible to give mark hodgson a negative rating, I absolutely would. he is a completely incompetent lawyer. he "represented" us in a custody dispute, taking thousands of our dollars and accomplishing nothing, until we finally fired him and hired someone who knows what the hell they are doing. among his MANY transgressions: promising to address issues in court and then failing to even bring them before the judge; having informal conversations with the opposing party and her lawyer and agreeing to terms that he a). didn't bother to consult with me about, and b). directly contradicted my very clearly communicated goals; failing to inform me that I did/did not need to appear in court, failing to inform me of changed meetings/depositions, ETC!!! he never returned phone calls or emails, his assistant often failed to communicate with both him and myself, and on the rare occasions she responded to my questions she provided partial answers for full price. HE IS AWFUL.
