This lawyer has a condescending manner about him that is unacceptable for anyone who works people in general. My husband and I are three years into chapter 13 and making our payments on time. When we applied for a hardship assistance with our mortgage lender, the lender approved it and he refused to sign it. When I wrote to him concerning the issue his response was (this is a direct quote from the e-mail) "Dave Ramsey would say: Wa, wa, wa, get to work & tighten the belt!" The hardship request required that he sign a single piece of paper on our behalf and return to the mortgage company but he refused unless we paid him $650 additional dollars.
