I am a female client and was not represented to the best of Mr. Barden's abilities. Even though I was the Petitioner, opposing counsel created all the documents and filed them. Mr. Barden was ill prepared when we went to a conference meeting. He'd ask me for money but I never got a bill. I asked him to include two issues in the MSA but he refused. When pressed, he'd tell me "Do you want to go to court?" I felt Mr. Barden was intimidated by opposing counsel. He would get upset when I asked for clarification with items included by opposing counsel in the MSA. I felt he didn't want to be bothered with anything and was in a rush to get the matter dissolved. He never had my back or my best interests in mind. When I sent him an email outlining all of the issues that had not been taken care of, he asked me if I want to find another attorney.He knew he had me between a rock and a hard place.His paralegal did all the work -- not Mr. Barden. I'm extremely disappointed with him.
