Joan is condescending, rude, you know nothing, unprofessional with the family, and hospital social worker in the last week of our mother’s life. Refused to release her PD to the social worker as she indicated her instructions were not to release her EPOA,PD or Will to anyone unless she could communicate with our mother which was not going to happen due to her health. I understand not releasing the WILL till her death to the executors but not the EPOA or PD. She made the family’s life hell in the two weeks of our mother’s life
Upset our mother (age 92) several times when she was executor for one of her son’s estate to the point that she told the family when it was all said and done not to use Joan to settle her estate. She also told us that in the presence of the social worker near the end of her life.
Recommending this lawyer to anyone from this family will never happen.

RUN AWAY! The WORST lawyer I've ever worked with. (And I have worked with several over the years.) Rude, obnoxious, wouldn't answer emails, wouldn't answer questions, refused to do the work she was hired to do. In the end, a complete waste of time and money on Ms. Majeski. LOOK ELSEWHERE for a GOOD LAWYER.

Joan is extremely knowledgable and highly intellectual. It is hard to come across well educated lawyers these days who don't "bill bill bill for every 2 minute phone call!" She is absolutely thorough and always has the best interest of the client. Her rate is well worth it and she will do a fantastic job. She will get the job done! Top notch lawyer!

I agree completely with the first 2 reviews. This lawyer is your worst nightmare! She was rude, unresponsive,gave very poor advice and was a total waste of money. We had to keep chasing her up for answers and updates but never getting much of either. Our family trusted her to deal with the estate promptly instead of taking years to complete.

The worst Lawyer I have ever had to deal with. She had poor contact with me, I was constantly chasing her to get answers. Setting up a simple meeting took weeks to organize due to unreturned phone calls and poor communication. There was nothing that she did that benefited me. She even failed to prepared paperwork in time critical conditions. I almost felt as if she were working on her own behalf to have increased legal fees. What a WASTE of money, time and emotion!! Just a terrible experience!
