Don't trust this attorney. I'm his natural father who raised him from infancy until he was eight. He and others in his support group are suspects in the suspicious death of his mother that is an ongoing investigation. Mom and Dad know their children best. Modesto police have not cooperated in the investigation and it is moving to federal court next.

I came to Mr. Kalanta 4 years ago with a divorce case that was not easy, in fact it was a complete mess. He could have turned me away because it was difficult but he didn't. Mr. Kalanta is an honest, hardworking lawyer. He is knowledgeable about the law and he will fight for you in the courtroom.

I regret my decision using this attornay.He made me believe that he could help me win my custody case now over 6 months later i still do not have any real answers.when i first went in they seemed real caring and professional but as time has gone on with no real results so has my savings!still no custody plan,i feel like he is for my x husband hardly sticks up for me meantime i get billed for any and everything.being a single mom with few dollars was the reason i first went here i have been regretting that decision ever since!i cant afford to go to a new attorney!this mother of 2 is very disappointted!! dont waste your time and money :(

Divorce and fighting for custody of children is not an easy process. In my case, it's has been a nightmare. After over 2 years, we are still trying to negotiate a fair custody arrangement for my son and daughter. Mike is almost too honest to be a lawyer. Mike had well-thought plan for my case. He is truly a professional, knowledgeable, experienced, calm and detail oriented person who truly cares about his clients. Thank you for all of your hard work and for not giving up on me or my kids.

I have enjoyed having Mr. Kalanta as my attorney. He always gets back to me in a timely manner. He keeps me up to date with whats going on. His card says he is aggressive and dedicated and I truly believe he is.I will be recommending Mr. Kalanta in the future to my family and friends if they ever need an attorney.

Mr. Kalanta is the worst lawyer I will ever come across. He did absolutely nothing for my case except collect his dollars. He does not care to do anything for his client and kept replying "what do you want me to do?" When I was always honest and everything was in my favor. If I knew the law and could defend my case why would I ask for your defense. The petitioner's lawyer defended his client. My lawyer kept asking me what do you want me to do? At least provide a little d dense for your client. If you went through law school you should be able to apply the law to your client's case.

Mr. Kalanta helped me through a bitter divorce and kept overall fees down. I wanted to divide things evenly but, keep my retirement and he helped me do that. Most importantly, after it was over, he went the extra mile and wrote a letter on my behalf which helped me to buy a home.

I would have to give this attorney a big fat 10+ He has proven and shown me his abilities and integrity. He really cares about his clients and follows through.
