This lawyer never returned my calls, avoided key questions by text, and didn’t meet with me in person even once. I wasn’t given full disclosure or a clear explanation of the evidence. At first, he said I had a strong case — then suddenly claimed there were “issues” and handed me off to an associate who pressured me into a plea deal without explaining anything.
I wasn’t told that taking a plea is my decision, not theirs. I felt completely ignored and uninformed throughout. I’ve since fired him and requested a new lawyer through Legal Aid.
If you want real representation, go somewhere else.

Elliott made himself available whenever I had a question. He also kept me updated and put gave it to me straight when deciding to go to trial. I am glad I listened to him. The charges were withdrawn. Highly recommended.
