I will never ever deal with them again, we agreed on a price for them to fight my case and then towards the end they asked for another $7.5000 on top of the $10.000 I paid because they did more work than they anticipate, please stay away from them.2021

I hired A decent lawyer of Filkow law to help me with a simple legal matter. They took a retainer of $2300. Once the case was concluded, I asked three times for a receipt and an itemized bill. I finally received these items with all the actual billable times and charges omitted. When I asked for a revised bill showing the actual billable hours, I was called personally by Kevin Filkow, who proceeded to yell at me over the phone, speak to me in a condescending manner, talk over me, make up various excuses about why he didn't need to account for taking all of my money, and then he said if I wanted a corrected bill that he would charge me $700/hour to create one. I said yes please go ahead, to which he became even more angry and was actually screaming at me on the phone that it was Friday and he was on his way home and that I was not worth his time to even be speaking to.
I truly wish there was a better standard to hold Lawyers accountable for treating clients like this.
