I had the exact same nightmare experience as these 2 people! It seems criminal that a society (Law) which claims its very existence is to protect the public from shady lawyers, could allow this guy to operate in such a manner! I made at least 6 formal complaints to the law society about Tomlinson and believe it or not none of them was investigated further. The correspondence I received from the law society regarding my concerns were arrogant, superior and condescending to say the least! That’s all one can expect from a self regulating body that accounts to no one. They protect themselves, not the public. Lawyers are masters at getting around the law! Ridiculous!

The same thing happened with my fathers estate. All cash, yet it took this clown 2 years to deal with it! Wouldnt return calls or emails. My formal complaints to the law society finally forced him into retirement! The law society is supposed to protect the "public" from dishonest lawyers like Eric Tomlinson. What a joke. Far and away the worst experience ever.

Still not closed on my father's estate coming up on three years after his death, and dealing with a wholly cash estate. Eric has no understanding of email, sends documents full of errors and typos, misses deadlines and phone calls and emails go unreturned.
