I engaged the help of Gilland Law firm to help me with an IRS tax problem because I was intimidated at the thought of dealing with the IRS directly. I heard an advertisement on the radio, called and set up an appointment and showed up for my appointment only to be told that their was a scheduling error and they would have to reschedule me for the next week. When I finally met Jim Gilland in his conference room, I told him my situation, signed their agreement and a power of attorney and pay his firm $6,750.00 I never saw or spoke to Mr. Gilland again. My case was handed off to two inexperienced "Associates" that never once initiated a single contact with me either by phone or email. I called and emailed for updates on my case and usually received a reply after the 2nd or 3rd attempt. I was required to be at the IRS meeting and was told afterwards that it would be another $1,700 for them to correspond directly with the IRS. Needless to say I declined and went it alone. Buyer beware
