Very satisfied with her assistance on and EPO. Jessica was knowledgeable and had excellent advice. Very approachable and helpful. She made a stressful situation less stressful.

Worst lawyer and person I have ever met. She went behind my back and made decisions on my behalf with my abusive ex. She accused me of calling too much and put me down for helping her to prepare for my case. She made my situation worse and treated me like I was worthless and pathetic. She downplayed the abuse I went through with my ex. She did not take it seriously that my ex had hit me and the children. She stood up in court and said things that I did not agree to. She told me if I call or email her that she may or may not get back to me. She rarely returned my calls. I’ve never felt so disrespected by someone who was supposed to be helping me. Please do not use this lawyer, she is judgemental and will only hurt your case because she makes decisions that she feels are the right ones even if you don’t agree with her.

Worst mistake I have ever made. Continuously charged when nothing was being done. Never returns calls, cancels meetings at the last minute and her assistant has a tendency to lose submitted documents.

Booked a consultation with Ms.Chapman, that lasted all of 20 mins. Prior to the consultation I advised her of my court date for a family law matter, and she advised that she was available. 24 hours later I received an email from her assistant Gail, stating that Ms. Chapman did not have the capacity to take on my file at this time and to come pick up my files. When I opened the envelope containing my papers, There was a bill for $294 for her wasting my time. If she couldn't take on the case, she shouldn't have booked the consultation. Waste of time and Money!!

Check your account statements. Are they detailed? Is she charging you $400 per hour and you can't see progress? Is she extremely hard to get in touch with? Make sure you are getting what you paid for.
