I'd give this guy NO stars if it were possible. A case that should've easily been dismissed went through with over $800 in LAWYER FEES despite his promise of a $400 cap. He never returned calls that were pertinent to the case so guess what? We had to take a trip back to Steelville because this HE didn't do his job. WORST LAWYER. FIND ANOTHER.

J.D. takes on more cases than he can handle. He is condescending and full of himself. If it is a criminal case and you need someone to blow smoke up your butt and hold your hand while you plead guilty, he's your man.

Although I haven't seen my case through with him, He comes very highly recommended by word of mouth. My cousin used him for divorce and custody. friends have used him. He is definitely a huge improvement from my last attorney. And he charges half the rates of my previous attorney. He is charismatic and at home in court, and I believe this would be a wise choice. He will even take payments as this isn't a wealthy area. He is very professional and down to earth and never talks down to people.
