this lawyer was hired for my mothers divorce he did nothing on the case for 3 years accept to stand there with his hand out wanting more money so it was time to change lawyers after trying to fire Malcolm from my mothers case he went behind my back and had my power of attorney revoked Malcolm coned a little old lady into signing document that that she didn't know what they were and tried to take over her life after having to hire a new lawyer to finally fire him he then refuses to give up the case documents and says we owe him money then when we tried to contact him for the about the bill he won't return emails or answer his phone DO NOT GO TO THIS LAWER IF YOU DO HE WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! I encourage anyone who has used William Malcolm for a lawyer and has had a problem because of him to file a complaint with The Law Society of Alberta at www.lawsociety.ab.ca do not let him get away with it the law society can help you

after hiring this lawyer william malocome for my moms divorce he has taken $8000 and 3 year and has done nothing my mom is worse off then she was before we talk to him DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF

After spending thousands of dollars I am worse off with seeing my boys then before I saw Bill. He would just keep saying we have to keep your ex wife happy and that she's difficult to deal with. How about keep me your client happy and ya I know that's why she's my exwife. Hard to get ahold of and wants to take the long expensive route. Had another lawyer try and contact him for another matter and they gave up cause he wouldn't get back to them. Like others have said RUN and fast. Or you might as well burn your money at least that way you would get some value from it as far. Never came thru on one promise. Can't believe this is allowed to take place.

Mr Malcolm ruined my case. His lack of effort, lack of interest and overall action on my matter, has changed and drastically affected my family life. I would never recommend this Lawyer to anyone. Mr. Malcolm failed in every department. Wasted hours and thousands of dollars! Constantly repeating what was said, talking in circles, never giving clear answers to questions.

Retained this lawyer almost 1 year ago for a straight forward variance application. To date he has produced nothing. Bills me on each visit to review file and months later when I enquire, books me in to review file again and guess what.... Produces nothing. Cutting my losses here, retainer spent, will take my business elsewhere and start from scratch. It's criminal really. Very disappointed here.

was given him as a lawyer through my work Employee Assistance and took it as it was to save me money - NOT as he was a total waste of time! As others have said, didn't accomplish anything, told me what he was going to do but at the next appointment would just repeat the same thing, was impossible to get in touch with, made mountains out of mole hills - saying things couldn't be done or could only be done if we went a long expensive route. Went to a new lawyer and got action in a timely and cheap manner. Like others said - RUN. And I wanted to file a formal complaint and try to get some money back, but I was too busy actually doing things with my new lawyer to get all the info together and the timeline passed. That short of a timeline sucks because I think he doesn't get reported much.

As it was stated before RUN as fast as you can.He cost us our savings and got us a zero result and we question him about it and he even promised us that he would get an interm but instead we have lost half of our visiting time with our children because of him.My honest advise to you is DO NOT HIRE HIM !!!

After leaving an abusive divorce, I took the last $6000 I had and gave to this lawyer trusting that he would take care of me and my daughter. He literally took my money and ran..he did nothing for me at all. I have nothing good to say about this lawyer at all!

On divorce matters William is very knowledgeable. His work is good quality but too slow. Maybe he has taken on too many clients. Overall I am happy with his work.

Wasted 7 years waiting for him to get things done. Each time we met, he would review the same steps that needed to be taken, but NEVER act on them. Billed us for returning phone calls only to tell us that he was "working on things" but never saw any results. Finally got frustrated with the lack of progress and took our business elsewhere, where it was rectified in less than 6 months. We suspect he has the knowledge but perhaps not the time to follow through. Don't waste YEARS waiting on him - go somewhere else !!

No matter what, if you need a lawyer and he is offered...RUN as fast as you can in the opposite direction!!! Take your issues and money to absolutley anyone else!It will spare you incredible, unimagineable grief, dissapointment and your hard earned dollars! It has been the most painful disaturous experience working with him!
