I felt like my case mattered. The bills were a lot but I noticed that there were lots of little things that I wasn’t billed for. She was competent and managed my expectations. Most importantly she gave me good advice about how to handle my ex so things didn’t get worse. We ended with a fair result and I felt like my lawyered cared about my case. I read some of these reviews and think that there probably are lots of people who don’t like a lawyer that tells them the truth, but I would rather have someone who gives me the real information and doesn’t blow smoke up my butt just to take more of my money.

Poor quality services without considering the best interest of the client. She will pump you to unrealistic expectations. If children are involved just stir away as fast as you can she has no idea what the best interest of a child is and fully damage your children in the process. Also, I have never seen a lawyer who lies so unbothered in court and has poor ethics. She will spend your funds and drag you through a trial just to eat your money.

This is a terrible lawyer. Don't use her. My friend walked out with literally nothing whilst her bank account got fat, making applications that served my friend no purpose and increased their bill unnecessarily.

I suppose to have a simple divorce case but my ex created much more difficulty to our case. I had changed two lawyers and still couldn't settle my divorce. I came to Michelle with very little hope. I was surprised that she accepted my case. Michelle handled my case and fight for my benefits so well. I never regret to hire Michelle.

I sought out a lawyer to handle my extremely contentious divorce. I was recommended a few names from various friends and family. I ended up doing about 5 consults, as I wanted to make sure I found a lawyer who was both competent and also someone I would get along with. Unfortunately, Michelle was number five (I wish she was the first one). Michelle was exactly what I was looking for, she is extremely intelligent and a straight talker. If you are in the tech business, you know this is rare combination. The first day I met her she explained the risks associated with my file and how we should approach my case. A year and a half later, and she was almost dead on in her assessment. I would recommend Michelle for anyone who owns a business or whose income stream comes from multiple sources. Near the beginning of my file, I dropped off boxes and boxes of statements (7 years) from the accountants (admittedly, it was a mess). She just smiled, and her and her team went to work. My case hasn’t moved for almost 2 years, and haven’t gone to court as she promised us. Since she’s moved herself off our case and provided us with a junior lawyer to work with, nothing has happened. She just keeps sending me bills for correspondence, yet nothing actually happens. Worst experience ever.

Caveat emptor. Not clear if she just didn't read my Agreement or she could not understand it? Would not recommend this lawyer. My case was simple but made much more stressful due to the many errors made Ms Guy. She didn't seem to know what was going on what was going on with my case and gave unprofessional reasons why things were not completed. Unprepared for court . Her mistakes and disorganization were costly.

Michelle was aggressive and tenacious, but kind of a bully. If she had let me settle on my terms I wouldn't have gone to trial and lost and paid costs. But I guess lawyers dont get paid as much to settle.

My husband had really complex finances, since he runs his own businesses. My case was really complex and involved a lot of documents and we had to hire experts to figure out how much money my husband really earns. Ms. Guy really understood my husbands businesses and listened to my concerns. We had to go to court for disclosure and Ms. Guy was really confident in court. In the end, I felt like I was taken care of. I would definitely recommend Ms. Guy.

Ms. Guy was straightforward with me and settled my case without having to go to trial. I was very happy with the result. She was really fair and upfront about what it was going to cost me.
