Helen is knowledgeable and strategic. With her vast knowledge of matrimonial law in Canada (absolutely vital when it comes to the nitty gritty of negotiating a separation agreement), she has a firm grasp of which arguments can be made forcefully and confidently, which proposals have to be presented more tentatively, and where we might have to compromise. By the same token, she can spot weaknesses in the other side's argument a mile away. She managed to negotiate the best possible settlement when my wife was trying to take me for everything I had. Highly recommended.

Likes to settle cases out of court, if possible. Close to what can be reasonably expected from judge decision, but without extra costs and escalated fight. Worked for me, but might not be suitable for somebody else who is overly aggressive.

Helen listens to her clients and takes the least expensive method although will take matters to court if she must. She responds promptly and she doesn't have the ego of other lawyers. Unfortunately she does all her work so a lot of the admin stuff will cost you her hourly rate. Thankfully she is receptive to you doing some of the work. So talk with her to work somethings out. Be aware she will get ahead of the game and try to get work done in advance (the problem is that if you don't get to those things you'll have paid for them nonetheless). So manage what she does and when and you'll be fine.

I am a returning client. Two years ago Helen helped me with my previous case. This time I knew what to expect when the relationship went sour. We already had a settlement conference and the case is basically over. I guess with my luck I better keep this lawyer’s business card somewhere handy.

Helen handled my separation & divorce & I cannot recommend her highly enough. She was thorough, professional, knowledgable, efficient, highly intelligent & no-nonsense. She ran circles around my ex-husband's lawyer & managed to get me exactly what I wanted. She responds to emails personally & immediately day or night so I didn't have to deal with an annoying secretary or bankers hours or wait a week to get in touch with her. She also meets clients after hours which is so convenient for professionals like me with full-time jobs. She doesn't let anything sit no matter how busy she is & did not delay my case even once. Her fees were extremely reasonable & I paid a fraction of what I thought I would. Helen always gave me advice that made sense & protected me. We had our last wills prepared by Helen. The previous wills were written about ten years ago and fit into a single page each. Our new wills and power of attorney are very detailed with all possible scenarios. Along with documents there were memos for each document. All it took two appointments.

Ms. Gladkykh is the lawyer who listens to clients. That's a rare quality in lawyers. My case is not over yet, but I still want to praise her for the work done so far. She is very efficient and charges reasonable rates. She understands that clients have jobs as well and does not mind meeting clients after hours or on weekends. That helps a lot.

I had a legal certificate. Helen was a lawyer who accepted it, though I had to call 5 or 6 lawyers before. The case was 50/50 and I am glad that found Helen as everything went smoothly.
