Shawn is great at listening to you, only to bill you for your time and do nothing with that info. Looking to get ripped off, and get nothing accomplished, this is your guy. As soon as the money runs out, so does he.

Shawn is a Saul Goodman kind of lawyer, he is slimy, immoral and just in it for the money. I was recommended by a colleague to contact his sister Lisa Teryl. I mistakenly thought she worked for the same company as Shawn, so I emailed Shawn saying I was looking for his sister as I heard he was very busy this time of year. I made the assumption they worked in the same firm (they don't, but share the same building). I then received a call from his secretary that Shawn can do a consultation with me. I assumed Lisa was busy so I accepted. Once I arrived to his office, he pulls out his computer and just shows the webpage of his sister telling me to contact her. So I wasted $285 for him to merely say this to me. He could have simply said via email, here is my sister's contact. I felt completely robbed, and he offered like no real good advice. I feel like I have been taken advantage of. I am currently trying to get my money back. DO NOT USE THIS GUY.

You are better off self-representing then being represented by Shawn. He's only out for billing. Save your money.

I wish I never retained Shawn Scott. He was just out for money and nothing else. Once the money was gone so was he. Did my forms wrong and I was basically explaining the right way to do them. He spoke to me like I was stupid and if I questioned anything he almost seemed insulted. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

Horrible. He's only out for his billable hours and not to help you! we had 4 meetings with him, and he hadn't read any of the court documents or contacted the other parties lawyer. Do not hire him!

Definitely not recommended in regards to family law. Achieved a more satisfactory outcome being self-represented.
