She is the worst lawyer I have ever met. She is extremely unprofessional and does not proceed in a equitable manner. Very unprepared when a court appearance is required and does not assist her client in fulfilling court mandated requirements.
Stay away from her.

I don't understand the many negative reviews here. I found Ms. Harper to be a highly knowledgeable lawyer and an exceptionally clear communicator of family law. She helped me with negotiation tactics that I'd never have thought of myself. I'm giving her a 3/5 for communication because response time was sometimes very slow, but when she responded, her answers were detailed and very helpful. I also found her to be fair-minded and committed to collaborative family law while also advocating for me. She doesn't charge for every second spent, either - great value in a family lawyer. I recommend her.

Do not recommend to anybody. Heard twice while waiting to see her that her assistant telling over the phone that Tania is not accepting any new clients as she is busy. It was propaganda. Rather do your own stuff. All the judges are good as long as you do your stuff with your best ability.

Worse family lawyer I've ever seen. Doesn't respond to messages, creates problems where there are none, goes on extended vacations without notifying the parties and leaving no one in charge. And keeps charging for the work she's not doing. I would never recommend her to ANYONE!

She is disorganized and is difficult to communicate with. She has turned cordial relationships between ex-spouses into ones where they can not even stand one another with her "child focused" tactics. Her bio states "Wherever possible I look for solutions for clients that focus on negotiation and reaching solutions". She has done nothing of the sort and has pushed expensive, time wasting litigation proceedings. For someone who has children of her own, she can not see the damage she is unduly causing with her tactics on the children of families she is "helping". A horrible waste of resources both financially and emotionally.

Never used the law to our benefit, let alone the separation agreement. Would not stand up for us and fight when needed. Basically a laydown door mat type of lawyer. Takes FOREVER to respond to us, if she bothers to at all. A big fat waste of money. We fired her...too meek for my blood. Hired another lawyer, one who will come out swinging when needed.

We have a complex and very high conflict child custody case. She is not one to BS you, gives you the liklihood of different outcomes and is very smart. Her staff are awesome, and she bills by the minute- not hour which saves you money. We have a worst-case scenario, and she has been better than any other lawyer on our case to date.

Values fairness in custody issues; very familiar with family court; comfortable in contentious and confrontational settings, quick to think, hard to unsettle. Uses logic well. Very reassuring to have on your side.

Worst experience ever. Big waste of $$ for nothing - useless correspondence sent from her to opposing lawyer that got no where. Had to consistently follow up "have taxes been fwded to other lawyer?" To get no replies. Finally, when we got a reply she apparently sent them and then the other lawyer sent us a letter she still hadn't received it. Duplicate billing- I could have made more progress on my own.
