Robert and Daphna took my money and spent thr next 10 years sitting and doing nothing instead if winning a case that should have been one. When you are able to get them on the phone, which is rare, or return an email,they get angry at you for suggesting that they aren't working. Daohna was just indicted for the second time for....you guessed it...stealing her clients' money. That about sums it up.

Daphna is brilliant and kind. You definitely want her on your side. She knows the laws very well - and does well by her clients. I recommend her to anyone who needs representation in her area of expertise - tenant law.

It is becoming apparent that Daphna has essentially stolen our money. I believe she misrepresented the value of the case initially, in order to extract a large flat rate retainer. She has done almost zero work on the case, does not respond to emails, or return phone calls. Avoid at all costs.

she demanded $ 3,500 without any work.and waswas rude and arrogant.

BAD experience. I hired her to represent me against my abuse landlord who attempted to throw me out and continued to harass me on a regular basis all these years. she promised me to take care of it. After I signed with them and paid the retainer, she said she said that harassment is going to be a separate suit and she needs another retainer. meanwhile, she tried to push me into a very unfavourable settlement with the other party, and when i refused she bullied me (whether we went through with the whole suit or got settled right then, she would be paid the same who wants extra work?). the case has been dragging on for 19 months, no end in sight. meanwhile. she is curt and rude in her communications, and doesn't give a damn about the ongoing harassment that turned me into a nervous wreck. she just told me i am free to walk - while she holds my money. Brilliant!

Daphna Zekaria representing me in a Supreme Court case for my loft. However, she never filed a single motion or even discussed my case with me missing many appointments and deadlines for 6 months instead repeatedly trying to shake me down for multiple retainers when this wasn't our agreement. I pointed out my $15,000 retainer only required me to replenish and then she faked a $14,000 when she never even discussed my case with my leaving my home and everything I own hanging in the balance. A week later opposing counsel filed motion to dismiss my case because she literally had not done the work on her bill. She went on to steal $10,000 from my friend I also recommended who met with her for one hour. After we both fired her since she showed up to the Supreme Court ****. We finally were forced to go to the D A to file a formal complaints since she can't account for over $25,000. Moreover she left 2 clients free falling between 2 court without counsel because she stole our money!
