He has the knowledge base but chooses to what he wants to do. He knows that staying in Family law he can do what he does without being held accountable. It does not matter what he knows his personality says everything. No concern for what is best for children they just end up being used as tools. Unfortunately this profession is the only profession not legally bound to report child abuse. when you add a personality like this in nothing good ever happens. To the 2012 complaint about 200k that was the year he became a full partner in large firm and left private practice. I suspect your money purchased his partnership. Absolutely self-serving and knows he will be protected by what is in place to protect good lawyers. He is a perfect example why unregulated professionals should not be allowed to work in Family Law. It is not the Family Law Act at fault it is how the law is practised.He is a shameful waste of skin.

We used William to get custody of my children, never got back to us.. ever. His assistant always assured us we were top priority but never came through. We finally got officers of the children's court and found out he wasn't practicing anymore!!? no notice. Had to get a new lawyer last minute. thankfully the lawyer we did get moved things at a much faster pace. The money we spent on William was wasted. Nothing to show at all.

Curious how many other children this lawyer represented have committed suicide.
As his experience suggests, this man had the ability to recognize the neurodivergence that existed within our family and the factors that placed us at risk but failed to.
Collaborative lawyers are the way forward.

STAY AWAY !! Talks a great story - strategy, phsyco-social analysis - but no backbone. Went days (up to 13 one time) without a return call. Left EVERYTHING to last minute and then tried to blame me for not being ready. Only action happened when opposing counsel called then it was a mad panic...He's too busy, he's overloaded, he's not disciplined. He failed at real estate, he was forced out of McKenzie Lake, now failing at self-employment. Bad advice cost me "shared parenting" and thousands of dollars a year in support, taxes, etc. He did not provide me with correspondence - blamed opposing counsel for not acting - and after I dumped him, I found out that by law he is supposed to provide me with copies of all correspondence. I paid $10k to have new law team pick up my case and will be paying for the rest of my life because of him. TERRIBLE LAWYER, INCOMPETENT ASSISTANT.

Never returns calls. His paralegal filed documents wrong causing problems with my case. Kept getting runaround. Honestly could have done myself with better results. Would not recommend

Left multiple messages. No reply or return calls. Where in the world is... Will Doran?? If there was a N/A category that where will Doran would be rated, How can he be rated on; knowledgeable, tenacious, work quality, and value when he can't be located?

Very unorganized; Tells good story but absolutely no backbone; Ran up my bill blaming it on opposing lawyer; Doesn't return calls and leaves EVERYTHING to the last minute - avoid at ALL costs or you will pay the price, for a lifetime!!

I found Wil to be unorganized, misinformed, he over charged and represents clients interests very poorly. No backbone in court or with opposing council. Significant additional costs and time incurred with no value.

He will blame other lawyer for dragging on case, meanwhile he works for you.No backbone for going against other lawyers deliberatly holding up case while they both keep making money off you.Taking ultimatly away from your children.

wish he or his firm would return my many Phone calls and tell me why he is still holding my family's estate money just over $ 200.000 dollars I will try you again tomorrow before i get my lawyer to send you a notice its been over a year is everything ok ??? Please let me know so we dont have to feal this way.
