She was highly professional, took the time to understand my situation, offered expert legal advice, and helped me maintain realistic expectations while fighting for the things that were most important to me. Very nice lady. Young but knowledgeable in law. She was very responsive to contact, helped me save on some costs and she worked well to help me through a terrible custody issue. I got full custody. My only reservation is about her communication skills and courtroom negotiation methods. She spoke in "legaleez" and it left me lost. Total disconnect between layman and lawyer. Dealt with situations "as is" and lacked overall strategy from an ex who was slimy, vindictive and used the system. She didn't seem to try and hold him accountable. Little direction from her on strategy outside of the courtroom (such as dealing with Canada Customs & Borders, CPIC, and domestic violence). She was very passive in the courtroom and didn't challenge the other side at all. But the judge really liked her so it worked out for the custody portion.
