Greg Lafontaine is the laziest lawyer I had to deal with. After ignoring my calls for info about my case, I finally fired him and got a new lawyer. It was not until that he called me and yelled at me for wasting his time. At the end of the call, he said he is still charging me for wasting his time and effort. When I looked at at his work, it was next to nothing. Thousands of dollar down the toilet.

This man is a LEGEND! He doesn’t just talk the talk he walks the walk and if you get on his good side he will have you dance your way out of your case! Greg was recommended by a friend of mine and in a short period of time Greg has his case dropped so I hired him. As a result, I was released on bail without hesitation. After meeting with him a few more times to discuss my case all I can further say is that he is a GENIUS at what he does and having him on my case I feel very comfortable. He also doesn’t like to waste time you get what you pay for and that is results. This man communicates and delivers what you want. Trust him and he got your back 100 percent. Mr. Lafontaine was quick to ask for money, but when it came to actually work on my case, he dragged his feet, and passed it over to a student. Low attention to detail, no strategy, and negligence were the hallmark of Mr. Lafontain's representations. He was shocked when I refused to give him the appeal work, but it was the best move I made in my case. If I didn't know better, it seems this lawyer has other life-issues needing his attention. Not recommended.

Gregory Lafontaine is one of the finest attorneys around. I have had numerous complex cases over the last couple of years and he not only advocates extremely hard for his clients, but he was able to mitigate the case favourably. His knowledge and skills are unmatched. Whenever he arrived at court, I immediately felt a sense of relief knowing that I was in the best hands. That feeling carried over with every email, letter, conference call, and interaction. He is an expert in his field, highly recommend.

After finding myself in a situation, a friend told me about the awesome lawyer she had and so I hired Greg, He is knowledgeable, patient, kind, comforting and all around a nice guy. I am confident he will win my case for me. There is no doubt in my mind that I will have all charges dismissed because of his thorough work ethic. He is worth every penny it will cost me to fight this.

I hired Greg on recommendation from a friend and I am so very thankful that I did. I was so scared and nervous but Greg made me feel at ease and took care of everything. The biggest scumbag you will ever come across in your life. He cares absolutely nothing about anyone. He wants your money and will promise you the moon to get it. He lies constantly and is the most negligent lawyer I have ever come across in my life. Myself and two friends were all dealing with home around the same time for different reasons and we all paid him very handsomely and all had the exact same experience. I paid the guy 30k which was already overpaying for what the charges were and I would have paid more because I don't mind paying for quality work and results. He did absolutely nothing and let a student handle stuff, and the student screwed things up and it caused massive problems for myself and my family. I fired him, handled things myself, pled guilty and kept myself out of jail. His plan was for me to go to jail, then appeal and pay him another 3k, while telling me that my case was indefensible. One of the worst human beings you will ever meet. I feel sorry for his family

A couple of years ago, when there was a warrant out for me, one of my buddies brought me to see Greg. All of my friends used him and they all swore by him. He was awesome. He arranged for me to surrender and I was out on bail a few hours later. Then I was arrested for new charges and some breaches in a different part of Ontario. No one thought I’d get bail. Then my buddies arranged for him to make the trip. It was like when he walked into court, everything changed. I was out in an hour. He beat both sets of charges. You could tell the prosecutors feared him. I recommend him HIGHLY. Anyone who says Greg called three times in a day for money isn’t telling you the truth. They were dodging his calls and weren’t paying on time. Losers. Ignore the whiny snitches. I’ll never hire anyone else.

Greg has been considered one of the best criminal lawyers in the country for a long time. I disagree with anyone who has anything negative to say about him. I hired him fifteen years ago after the preliminary hearing. My previous lawyer said it was impossible to win the case and told me to plead guilty. Greg fought the charges and the judge kicked out the wiretaps and the case over. I was looking at really serious jail time. I have sent so many people to him and still send him referrals all the time. No lawyer can win every case, but he has won almost all of them and everyone has been happy with his work. The guy is amazing. I would recommend him to anyone facing charges. It’s not even a question. He’s the best.

Gregory Lafontaine became a nightmare for me. Beware of him; he is the most negligent lawyer imaginable. He has no moral principles; the only thing he cares is being paid. He lost my case, after dragging it for years. I truly believe if all evidence were presented to the court, I would be acquitted. Gregory Lafontaine conducted a trial scheduled for 3 weeks, in 9 days. He didn’t summon any witnesses on my behalf and therefore, submitted no documents, confirming my testimony. He advised me to have a trial with the judge alone. Now I realize he didn’t want to waste his time on jury selection because I paid him block fee for the trial.Beware!

I got referred to Greg from my previous lawyer Joseph Bloomfield who is now retired. I got charged twice in one year for very serious drug charges and was looking at doing 8-10 years for both times not only was he able to get these charges thrown out back to back Greg also got all of my money back both times around $130000.my wife got charged for some small thing he also got that charge thrown out and she only had to pay a $200 fine.greg was always there when I needed him phone or in person and still is. You cant put a price on freedom period. I had many lawyers in the past with ok results but never like what Greg did for me. How much is your freedom worth to you? Thanks again Greg for all your help you saved my life.

Greg Lafontaine lost my case after many promises of a win. Getting a hold of him was next to impossible as well, which visibly displayed his poor client relations. He charged me top dollar for a bad result. I do not go out of my way to write bad reviews, however with my time and money wasted (paying his legal fees, and now large government fines), it's best to hire another lawyer if you are searching for legal help.

Mr. Lafontaine has a wealth of knowledge from his history of practicing criminal defence. That’s why I hired him. It was an exercise in futility as attention to detail was minimal, resulting in serious harsh decisions and mistakes. On contact, unless money is to be collected, it was virtually impossible to reach this lawyer in a proper and/or timely manner. I had to sell my home to afford this lawyer, and the quality of his work was 100% not worth it. Beware.

I have hired Greg, for my legal work. The only reason I went to his office was to hire him, paid very high amount of money to retain him with lots of promise and hopes he gave me. Then he passed or sold my case to student ( article students) which are not even consider as a lawyer. He only calls you when it's the time for money. Beloved me he called me three times for money in one day. At the end he lost the case, and he told me . I did my best. He didn't even know anything about my case, nothing, because an article student was handling the case not him. All the staff from his office left him, all he does is an aloud laugh to get ur money out of ur pocket and lose ur case by him. He is famous but no real work. Google his name more, that famous ppl fire him or he loses most of the case.
