5/18/21   1     1     1     1     1   Terrible experience. Didn't clearly advise how to proceed with the separation. Never told me NOT to leave your matrimonial home even if your Ex is crazy and throws you and your stuff out, even if it's best for your kids to not see that conflict. Your Ex becomes the primary parent! He seems very eager, willing to do anything at the start until you bring him on retainer. Wasted $25K for absolutely nothing. He always gave in to my ex and refused to stick up for me and my kids even while being falsely accused and vilified. Never replies to any email you send for updates (he requests), but bills you for reading them. He absolutely had no clue how the court process worked and we didn’t even see the judge! Even the judge remarked he didn’t get it. Forced to sign a deal that restricted access to my kids that took 2.5 more years (after I fired him) to undo the damage. I would never recommend Adam Borer or Russell Alexander’s firm for anything Family Law related, EVER. RID: 228886
Click to report rating    4/21/20   2     2     2     2     2   Initially seems very eager and honest. Willing to help. In my opinion lazy with paperwork, often had his clerk copy and paste my information provided and did not proof read for grammatical errors even. He would prefer always to take the "easy" route. Unwilling to share information with me, or listen to my concerns, always rushed me through calls or meetings. His follow up is horrible. Recommendations were always to work things out with my ex directly, in court he appeared very uncomfortable, on his phone more then he was not, in the courtroom not well spoken, appears to lack confidence, sweats profusely. Follow up does not seem important, unfortunately I believe he lacks integrity. The current firm in which he works for (Russell Alexander) has horrible billing practices that have you paying 3 and 4 times for the review of one simple document. The value for your money is not there at all! I do not recommend Adam or the firm for Family law based on my personal experience RID: 221050
