Emily's communication style and articulation are her key strengths. I was one of her key witnesses in a hit-and-run case that resulted in a death. She was the Crown’s attorney. She questioned me quite well and used the facts that I stated to strengthen her case further. The defense seemed nervous at times and butchered the cross-examination, but Emily was always confident in her demeanor and communication.
Months later, I was a witness in another case but Emily was on the other side of the aisle this time. The Crown/police evidence was not strong to begin with, but Emily still made the most of it. I sat through her closing remarks and admired the way she summarized her case.
Emily is a young lawyer, so you can still sense that passion when she handles her cases. The way she communicates makes a lot of difference. Overall, she left a very good impression on me in both cases.
