Avi baratz is the worse lawyer I have ever delt with in my life. He takes your case and legal aid certificate. He ignores calls and emails. He then states within 2 weeks that you have used all your legal aid up and tries to charge 400 an hour. He is greedy and does not care about reuniting you with your children but only cares about money. I have fired him. He tried to extort me

I went to Avi for help he set back my family law case tried to charge me 10k just to look at my file, Boy when a lawyer thinks you don’t know your rights they are dangerous. he does not fight for you. Previous comments must have come from paid commentators have you ever had a lawyer that would actually argue with his client to forfeit their rights he made it so obvious that they had an unethical relationship with opposing counsel. Would you have faith in a lawyer that writes you a letter to defend opposing counsel, would you have faith in a lawyer that would insult you into believing that you should accept unethical behavior from your opposing counsel or serve you on a silver plater. Big alarm bell for me was when he admitted did not know the statues in family laws, also deliberately refrained from presenting evidence after being instructed to present it which ended up benefiting the other side 100% Run ask him how many times he has gone to trial listen to his answer you'll see
