Mr. Addario is immensely respect by judges, Crowns, police, and his associates. His junior associates are friendly and respectful. Mr. Addario treated me with respect right up until the moment he received his significant retainer. After that point, he becomes a different individual. I went from a respected wrongfully accused business person to an obviously guilty embezzler. I was treated with more respect from the detectives. I was told I needed to plead guilty immediately in order to save my family from any more pain and embarrassment.
I am not a perfect person, I have made mistakes in my life. However, every person that can afford to hire a lawyer as respected as Mr. Addario should be entitled to his best efforts at that defence. Mr. Addario charges as much as $6,000 for a single day of his time. If I wanted to plead guilty to my charges I could have done that with a lawyer that charges 90% less than this gentleman.
The second biggest mistake of my life was hiring Mr. Addario

He is definitely pro prosecution Extremely expensive $600 hour. But has young lawyers asking $300 hour with minimal experience. Shameful They love adjournments $$$

I would never recommend this lawyer. He is dishonest well connected to judges. Do well research before you hire him. He will promise a lot and do nothing for you. He will tell you "My client is more important then my friendship with the judge"=big lie. He protects judges interest he does not care about client. He gave you a maximum cost estimate then he gives the case to junior lawyer "to lower the cost" then rip you off by billing you 30% more than was his maximum estimate. He is immoral.When he loses your appeal he will advise you to go to Supreme court telling you "you have 50:50 chance" - big lie.He wants to take more your money. He knows there is "o" chance to get leave to appeal at supreme court.You can check this fact at CanLII. The only applications were granted for many years when Crown attorneys apply.
