As crooked as they get. Hugh overcharges and double charges his clients. Always assess your accounts when you deal with him as he doesn't do anything on your files until the last minute or until you threaten to go elsewhere. He lies a lot and is very gossipy and unprofessional. Never in my life have I seen someone so shady in the legal profession.

Extremely knowledgeable, tenatios and fair. Took over my complex employment and disability claim from prior lawyer who engaged in excess billing and poor communications. Mr Scher restored my faith in the legal community and successfully resolved my matters. I highly reccommend him to anyone.

Hugh is very knowledgeable, especially about certain medical conditions that many other legal professionals, let alone doctors, have much in depth knowledge about. He has helped me navigate the complex waters of securing both CPP and LDT without being denied. This was critical since my health didn't allow me to focus the energy and attention it required.
