Watch out for extra irrelevant items in bill; "organizing client file", "creating client file" both took half an hour each. Be prepared for this bill line item: Trial team meeting, which was meetings for a single motion to dismiss a case based off inconvenient forum, aka jurisdictional conflict when another case was pending in another state. I was charged per team member too, excessive & not in the best be interest of me. The lawyer didn't even recognize Res-Judicata after I told her repeatedly. I told the firm upfront that I do not have the money to pay for more than $xxxx yet that amount was tripled. Everytime I tried to say stop doing unnecessary things, I was told I have to trust them! I trusted them not to put me in debt. I trusted that when in court the lawyer says my legal fees were $xxxx, that would mean my legal fees were $xxxx not magically $xxxxx. Poor ethics! Find another firm!!

My experience with the Manely firm was similar to another reviewer - the attornies assigned to my divorce case were a revolving door and not of my choosing (I am now on my 4th in less than a year - and this one had little to no family law experience. My wife's attorney had more than 20 years experience so needless to say I am stuck with a settlement that is ridiculously unfavorable to me - all the while you will be charged outrageously, and charged, and charged - I honestly believe they spend more time itemizing the invoice than they did on my case - my latest "bill" is $ 5800 for a single month! I'm extremely unhappy and would NEVER recommende this foirm to anyone!!!

I would never recommend this firm. I was never notified that I had a new attorney & ever time I called they had new staff. They did little work on my case & I got an outrageous bill.
