I met Mr Werno 4 years ago to handle my divorce. My case was very unusual as I had been an expat for 11 years and at the time was living in Thailand.
After calling several lawyers my intuition guided me towards Mr Werno. It was the best decision I had ever made. When I returned to the States my ex
remained overseas so there were many challenges we had to face. With the complexity of my divorce Mr Werno was always optimistic
and realistic and prepared me for various outcomes. In the end, we were able to get all that we had asked for. It could not have gone any better.
I owe an immense thanks to him and his assistant Kathye who never gave up and always pushed through. Mr Werno is incredibly kind, empathetic
and extremely knowledgeable. I truly enjoyed meeting with him because I always left knowing I was in the best of hands. He is very professional, kept meticulous notes

My wife had filed for divorce and we were pursuing mediation. The mediator seemed untrustworthy so I sought legal counsel. A trusted friend referred me to Don Werno. Mr. Werno helped us with a dog bite issue. He was not only straightforward, honest, and to the point, but he answered his phone an called back when he said he would. I felt like we got honest advice, and a clear interpretation of the legal issue we were facing. If more lawyers were like Don Werno, we wouldn't have so many lawyer jokes. I recommend him highly.

We highly recommend Mr. Werno if you are looking for an attorney with integrity, a good work ethic, strong intellect and drive to win your case. Werno and Associates is organized, timely and effective. In our case we were being taken to Family Law Court as my husband’s ex was contesting a Richmond Step-Down and presenting fraudulent facts. Mr. Werno and his staff did an excellent job filing declarations and preparing for our hearing. The day of the hearing, we spent most of the day at the courthouse waiting to get into our hearing. Werno spent that time reviewing the documents that the other side was presenting, making notes and building even more strength in his strategy with our case. When it was time for our hearing, the other side didn’t really stand a chance. Mr. Werno was direct, well spoken, used the relevant law and won our case completely.

Had a legal issue that I thought was going to be too difficult for the average attorney. I was referred to Mr Werno fortunately. Due to the nature of the matter, I expected a few some snide quips or jokes at my expense but instead got straight talk, better answers and results. Great communication skills and very professional with my case. Class act and the costs were reasonable.

I retained Mr. Werno for another legal matter which he handled outstanding for me....Then my two teenagers were in an accident involving my car which was totaled...I called Don and ask if by any chance he handled this kind of suit against the other insurance...as a favor to me he took on my case...Not only did he settle this matter he was able to get my children a wonderful cash settlement...Don has treated my family amazing ...I have refered Mr. Werno to my friends and family members....Don and his office staff are friendly, professional, knowledgable, fair and I highly recommend him for any legal issue that anyone might have...Thank-you for everything!

I contacted Don Werno to assist me in enforcing my divorce settlements. He was very helpful in giving me various options on how to handle the situation. I found Mr. Werno many years ago and he has become our family go to attorney. We have used him many times and he continues to impress us with his sincere desire to find the best possible solution to our legal problems. We first used him on a business matter and he made some recommendations that surprised us... He suggested that we take an approach that solved our problem, but meant that he would not make much money. What a surprise to find an honest lawyer who puts his clients first. Sadly a few years later we needed a lawyer to handle a serious car accident case. Don finally got the insurance company to settle shortly before trial. I was charged with a first time DUI and Don helped me through the entire process. He was first of 4 lawyers I was to interview and I selected him after the initial consultation. I found Don Werno while I was shopping around for attorneys in my area. As soon as I started talking to him, he made me feel better about my situation. He noticed the panic in my voice and instantly assured me that I had nothing to worry about and that he would take care of the situation. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I got all that I had asked for once my case was settled. At the end of it all, I had an outstanding bill of $1400 more than he had originally quoted me. A friend gave me attorney Wernos name after I was cheated by a different attorney who charged my thousands of dollars without doing anything. Attorney Werno was very nice and explained everything about how the other attorney should have helped me. He was very patient when I asked him questions and when we went to the judge. He is very smart and kind and helped me out when I needed help. My son now lives with me and his dad does not see him because he is in jail. I would tell my friends to use Attorney Werno if they want an honesy attorney. He charged me a fair monies and always talked to me when I called his office.
