Put little to no effort into my divorce case. It was very straightforward but Nussey missed steps and advice that are a crucial part of the process resulting in continuous hardships for my family. He was also often dismissive or unresponsive.

Lied to me about my case. Said he was meeting with the judge and I found no meetings were on the docket. Delayed motion until he exceeded the stature. Then he said he will appeal and dropped the appeal. Who takes 3 years to file a motion? Then he said he will send my records and repeatedly delayed sending them. Am amazed there are people like this who can sleep at night. I believe that in the end, truth and his character will out.

Unethical! Incompetent, dishonest! Not sure how he is still able to practice law! His reviews on avvo are made up BS. I hired him based on those fake reviews and found out the hard way! It cost me more than I could imagine was possible. There are plenty of good lawyers to choose from, Ryan D. Nussey is NOT one of them!

Unfortunately, I have needed legal representation for several years now. My family has been very lucky to have Ryan. Ryan has always been professional, knowledgeable, and honest. We know we can count on him. His staff is great as well.

I have hired Ryan and his office for several family matters over the last few years. I have always been happy with the service in the office. Charmaine is wonderful and so are the other assistants.
Ryan is great too! I have had attorneys who don't read emails or respond to phone calls. That is NOT him. He is on point in the courtroom as well. I am very pleased with the service I have received from him and will continue to use him for any future family matters. I highly recommend him and his office.

Ryan needlessly extended litigation for more than a year with an opponent that clearly wasn't going agree to anything; information that was provide when he was taking the case. He failed to recover any discovery items regardless of countless requests to do so. Then he refused to address or advise on issues needing appeal; just repeated we can if you want, without discussion. Post judgement, he does not return your calls or voicemails. Still, nearly one year later, no final bill to account for the last retainer. He is a great salesman and good for a single topic that he’s sure of but he never wants to discuss legal strategy or spend time to fully understand a complex issue. Save your money, he won't as his hours are always spent alone and not with you, except in the courthouse.

Waiting for over a year to receive necessary paperwork on my ex's pension in a divorce settlement. Does not answer calls or texts 9 times out of 10. Still waiting. What is one to do to get copies, paperwork or returned calls regarding divorce decree actions to b carried out short of suing him????

No friend of military members or veterans!!! Willing to litigate against a decorated Army vet doing a third tour in Middle East to keep his child away from the service person's family members. Anything for money. He had no case but did everything he could to litigate for 4+ months to make the service person's last months at home with his child and family awful. Mr. Nussey is an unethical liar.

The last comment said it best. They are interested in your money and nothing else. After the case was over, I was ignored completely. It took almost 5 months to get an order written up, which should have been done in a timely manner. I have a hard time understanding how their firm won best of South NJ. The defendant was questioned about certain important factors to the case and now I want the case appealed. I will seek counsel elsewhere and I advise you to do the same.
