I was under the impression a mediator is supposed to be biased on both parties I had the misfortune of Ms. Mckenzie berating me while offering her help and legal advice to my ex husband. It was a horrible and hurtful experience she takes sides is extremely unhelpful and a waste of time. I wouldn't recommend to anyone very unpleasant and unprofessional individual Furthermore she doesn't take time to communicate or offer any insight Poor work ethic. Just a horrible experience

Stay away! She’s an embarrassment and a complete waste of time and your hard earned money. Don’t people have self respect enough to not charge when they don’t know what they’re doing? “ I’ll get back to you with more info”, means pay me my consultation fee and you’ll never hear from me again. She gives good lawyers a bad name.

Bad..bad...bad...stay away. Disorganized and you will have to pay for her to send documents several times.Funny how previous negative reviews vanished. She shouldn't be in practice.

Me McKenzie a premièrement consacré du temps afin de bien cerner le problème. Par la suite, elle m'a conseillé et m'a expliqué tous mes droits. Elle m'a également présenté différentes avenues dans le but de régler le problème de façon permanente. Elle a tenue compte de mes demandes et attentes avant de procéder aux démarches. Nous avons convenu d'une marche à suivre pour le déroulement des évênements et du suivi. Le tout s'est réglé selon les prévisions. Bravo!

If I could give you some advice stay away from this lawyer!!
It was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a lawyer!! She is Disorganized, and Incompetent!! What should have been a VERY SIMPLE case turned into costing me 3 times the normal price!! I had to hire another lawyer to finish her sloppy Incompetent work!! She would take several weeks to get back to me, for questions I had, signing the exact same document more then once, maybe she misplaced the first ones!!
Nathalie McKenize should NOT be practicing law!!!

I am absolutely astonished that this lawyer has even one bad review. This woman is a wealth of information, she is not at all like your typical family attorney. She takes the time to know your situation and guide you based on your needs. And the knowledge! Her years of experience combined with her passion deserve 10 stars!

The previous positive comments must have been paid for. This lawyer is only interested in billing clients by procrastinating and not knowing her files. She is always late, disorganized does not know her files does not read her dossier and even told the opposing lawyer that if the her client was unclear about his objective (she didn't know what her mandate was after 2 months!)it did not matter since they will get paid anyway.The lawyer who was told this, checked her reputation with other colleagues at a conference and the comments were very negative. If a woman lawyer is wearing too many gold bracelets and trinkets, you already know what she's after. Avoid her at all costs.

Nathalie McKenzie is a very good lawyer. I have worked with her for many years. She has many years of solid experience and she knows all the tricks other lawyers will try. Remember she is a mediator and wants both parents to do what is best for their child. She can and has argued strongly when needed, but she prefers that both parents agree to a resolution. Litigators will charge you double or more. Divorce is a lot of hard work, read all you can, and be an effective team with her and you will see great results. I recommend Nathalie McKenzie.

Me. McKenzie did a terrible job and was not well prepared. All she cares about is settling, even though it's not good for you. She in not very knowledgeable and not well prepared, so she wants to settle. She should have filed motions and did not which put me in a very bad position. Veey expensive for quality of work.

Honestly, perhaps the last comment was from someone that had a very difficult divorce but for mek although it wasn't easy quick OR simple, I was very satisfied being represented by Nathalie Mckenzie. She is professional, her office is very welcoming on the Lakeshore in Lachine and she seemed very caring and really helped me through this hard time. Cost was average and maybe a bit lower then the usual but I never felt like I was paying for a service that wasn't returned.
