TOTALLY USELESS! Tried to take credit for a simple transaction which was of no consequence to my case. Of course, along with the credit came his hourly rate for setting this up. He engages in idle chit chat during a call, all the while he's billing you. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM!!!

I wish I had read these bad reviews before using Brian. Had the same experience. Acted like a bully in court, caused nothing but problems with the judge. Got schooled by the other lawyer who charges half as much per hour. Took me for a ride up until the point my financials ran out (go figure since he had all the info) Brian is truly a predator in the circus of family court. Save yourself money and headaches; avoid this lawyer and his law firm. If you are representing yourself and opposing him, just load him up with emails and his client will be forced into bankruptcy before you even get to trial. Shameful, disgusting, antiquated, greedy person who's moral compass fell into a urinal about 23 years ago.

Heis a bully. Took $50,000 of an $80,000 retroactive arrears settlement for child support. No breakdown of costs. Treated me like a stupid child. I felt worse afterwards than before I signed on with. I would never recommend him to someone I liked.

Though Brian may have the knowledge, he does not seem to take the time to use it. Does not respond to communication, missed court dates due to choice to go on vacation, billed excessively, and had to go back to review same thing over and over and over again. Generally dragged the case on indefinitely, billing all the while.

McCann is way beyond his "Best before Date"! Totally ineffective. All he is interested in is billable minutes. I would NOT recommend this lawyer.

If you aren't loaded with money to put in his pocket his advise will be to lay down. I told him to drift and went into court with no lawyer and won. Shows what he knows. Thanks for nothing pal. Didnt need you anyhow

I would not recommend this lawyer for any purpose. He is rude arrogant and untrustworthy. Mccann has no problem with lying on affidaviits before the courts. Lying to clients. Bullying clients and helping the opposing council. More than his own client. I cannot believe he is still practicing. He does not move cases forward but stalls them to increase billing

This man does not care about doing what is best for your children. All he cares about is money and yelling and screaming and turning red in the face in the courtroom. He is a nasty, nasty piece of work.

First off, the length of time it takes to complete your separation process is dependent on how much you can afford to pay. Brian seems to drag things on and on. Letters sent to my ex's lawyer on my behalf were loaded with typos and inaccuracies. It took him forever to respond to requests and he said he sent them documents when he clearly didn't. If you want an amicable process, then he's not the lawyer for you. He made the process much more hostile than it should have been, pissing off my ex and her lawyer which came back to bite me in the end. Stay away!
