While Randy may be effective in low conflict cases, as he does not litigate, he has no teeth/backbone, if these are necessary. He is also firmly entrenched/beholden to the gynecentric family law system and has little capacity to see the injustice in it towards (some, most) men. He charges a lot (most do) but I had little to show for it. He seemed to have no capacity to see that we were dealing with a covert narcissist or have the tools to deal with her. He fell for her tactics. When things escalated, I made several attempts to contact him (phone,email) over several days for advice, he didn't respond - but did to her manipulative email.
That said, the single best piece of advice he gave is "Never get in the position where you have to defend yourself against her physical attack - You will go to jail and spend the next 2 years clearing your name" (Perhaps he does have some understanding of the unfairness... but unwilling to seriously act upon it - Just roll over and take it buddy)

Randall was recommended to me, and for good reason: He is exceptionally effective. While his hourly rate is at the high end of the scale, you can expect his performance quality and time efficiency to more than compensate. My situation involved several matters of delicate negotiation and I found Randall to be highly effective under potentially infuriating conditions due to his understanding of both the law, and the psychological factors that unfortunately came into play. His downside would be that as an independent, he must balance his time between his current clients which can result in extended stretches of unavailability. None the less, I would and have comfortably recommended him to people in need of family law representation.

I hired Mr Levine for a collaborative divorce approach. He kept asking me to email him documents as he didn't want to photocopy them. This should have rang alarm bells. Unfortunately, he also proposed that I get no child nor spousal support which forced me to go to court where both times judges agreed I get mid range spousal support on top of child support. Don't waste your money. He is very expensive. I found a great family lawyer for half his rate!
