Israel Apter of Krol & Krol handled my divorce and a number of issues with my ex-wife over the next few years. He was always patient, understanding and compassionate throughout the entire process. Israel is very knowledgeable and when necessary, would consult with colleagues to make sure I had the proper legal advice and was given options for any scenario that might arise. His communication was timely and informative, so as not to waste time and any updates were sent promptly. Israel Apter,Erin Krol and Stephanie Krol were invaluable in helping me through a very difficult and stressful situation. I was extremely impressed and grateful that they were able to preserve my rights in Ontario,after my ex started a divorce proceeding in the Middle East. It was a monumental task to navigate international divorce law after Covid lock downs threw everything into a tailspin. This is not an area too many lawyers have experience with and I'm pleased to say Krol and Krol was able to navigate this uncharted territory to a successful conclusion! I had total confidence in my representation the entire time. They were very supportive and provided thorough answers to all of my questions. Took my money signed a retainer agreement to represent me in court just before a court date would not represent me in court for a crutial hearing had to go find another lawyer to represent me in an adornment and then switch again and start all over again after switching got someone who actualy knows how to fight and got me 100% full cutody of my kids if Id rolled over like he wanted me too i would of lost everything a lawyer that worries about his own selfimige is not one thatyou should ever want cause when things go upsidedown you want someone with balls that will take on the system be aware and do your homework yes men are no men

I first used the services of Krol & Krol many years ago, when it was just Henry and Marilyn. They have since grown into a cohesive, team driven firm that is very impressive indeed. A good thing, too, because unfortunately, I have once again needed their services these past two years. I was fortunate to have Israel as the senior lawyer on my case. He is creative, thoughtful and tough when needed. He was especially firm during a five way meeting that could have been a difficult and painful process. I used Israel and his firm in completing my separation and divorce, and then a second round a mere few months later. I was in a vulnerable position being a stay-at-home-mom of three young kids and it was nerve-wracking with all the uncertainty of financials, naturally. I researched and did my homework and met with Israel and Henry more than once before retaining Israel. He has a very good disposition, he is quick and analytical and passionate. More than a few times he had to talk me down as things typically got heated with the opposition. He's very thorough and confident, which is exactly what I wanted. Not aggressive in nature, but strong minded and firm and fights for his client. I'm happy to say that my Agreement weighed heavily in my favour and I will continue to use them...if dragged back into proceedings again.

I highly recommend Israel. He represented me in a very long separation dispute. He is knowledgable, bright, thorough, prompt, and professional. Through the long process he wrote three different separation agreements for me and each was done quickly and accurately. I never needed to contact him to move things along as he would contact me first. I had a thick file but it was clear Israel had read all the documents as he would mention relevant details at our meetings. I also liked that he works for an established firm (Krol & Krol) as it meant he could bring Henry Krol into a discussion as well as use other available resources. Israel's competence and confidence supported his willingness to use all available resources. A previous lawyer had prepared a trust document that was a problematic attempt to speed up a house purchase. The other side attempted to interpret the document to their advantage. This lawyer is a MUST for anyone going through a separation or a divorce!! He is an expert in the law, has an incredible memory for details and gets personally involved in the client's well being. This guy does absolutely incredible work. He fought for me when I couldnt and got me more than I ever expected to get.
