Unprofessional, rude, arrogant seems to have no moral integrity. Paid no mind to being factual. Has no skills in dealing with people who are going through considerable emotional pain as is the case in most family law matters. Retained months ago but knew nothing of the basic info of my child or info about where family and son was from and raised. No concept of the legitimacy of what constitutes a valid agreement that stands the basics of a legal test. No respect for fellow legal counsel or time and money. Agreed to 4 way meeting at 2pm and other then two very brief 5 minute intervals with the other lawyer, left one party sitting in her waiting room and the other in a small room then what was suppose to be a boardroom from 2 pm till 4:11pm waiting on her to appear, she had the audacity to come in and say she had to leave by 4:30 when called out on her lack of professionalism and consideration she proceeded to become combative. Don't be fooled by this over inflated ego

Annette was my lawyer for a custody case. She was very understanding and attentive. She was very re-assuring, and made me feel very comfortable leaving my case in her hands. A few months after retaining her as my lawyer, my file has now been closed as I have received my final order. The ladies that work at the office were also great as well, they are all very helpful, knowledgeable and understanding.

I would never recommend they lawyer or AGS law firm, very unprofessional, make critical mistake that would make you lose your case. Annett never done her homework before day of court. she read my file on court day. she was very passive. her assistants were rude to me yelling at me, when i wend one day to office to clarify the critical mistake made on my file. been defensive and sarcastic. done fooled by their low rate they a blood sucker, this case going to the law association. I don't recommend this lawyer or this firm.

Annette is an amazing lawyer. I hired her after doing my own paperwork and attending court on my own for years. She explained everything that was being done on my file and made sure I was kept up to date. Annette really knows her stuff! The entire office staff made me feel so welcome any time I was in there. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I would recommend this firm to anyone!

This is about as honest as it gets. This was a very poor experience. Annette started off and it looked promising but then was bounced to 2 other lawyers where i had to relive the story. No commitment, ZERO tenacity in court. I can never recommend an organization that cares so little for their clients. I would go months without hearing from them but when it was time to pay, i would hear from them multiple times. Communication lacked severely. Overall, you can probably find more for your money.

Absolutely terrible. As soon as they had my retainer, they became impossible to reach or get information from. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Late filings, no call backs for days, broken promises and false promises, invalid charges on the invoices.

Horrible. After 5 years I an still trying to get my court documents from her that were not finalized with the courts she never wrote the final copy up for the judge to sign!! Impossible to get ahold of as she does not return your calls. 3 months ago she was going to "call me right back" horrible and I do not recommend her to anyone

I am bedazzled by any of the bad reviews given under this lawyer! Annette is a well respected lawyer in the Barrie area - a friend recommended her to me. Annette is very driven, hard working, knowledgeable and compassionate. I never met anyone so committed and dedicated in achieving the best possible outcome for their client. I found myself at ease whenever speaking to Annette because she always reassured me and kept me informed on the next step or process. Annette was excellent at forming a strategy for every situation that we were put in - she is such a logical thinker. Meetings were very productive and I would leave Annette's office feeling as though everything was in good hands. Annette helped me through the most stressful period of my life and I am so thankful. She clearly cares for her clients and has their best interest at heart. I would 100% recommend Annette!

Annette was a terrible lawyer, I will never recommend her to anyone. She never read the file before court, she showed up to court 45 minutes late and often talked to other lawyers with heavy disrespect and no professionalism. She left me in the dark with my entire case, never called to update me nor has she shared information about my case or the papers she was receiving with me. She has ignored every phone call and refuses to give me any information from my file. When I asked her if I could do my retainer in instalments she refused stating that "she does not do instalments" even though I was aware that she did. As well due to the fact that Annette was uninterested in actually helping me with my case, she lied in court to make my case sound better which could have made me lose my case instead. Annette was horrible representation and I will never recommend her to anyone under any circumstances, you are better off representing yourself.

Annette and her staff are amazing, found her website while in Alberta and hired her to start a matter in Ontario for access. She is extremely intelligent, methodical and determined to win for her client. She fought ruthlessly for me and my daughter to be reunited and last week on Jan 9th she got me my visitation and access with my Daughter! Courts are a long and painful process but Annette had her focus set on winning from day one and she sure came through for me. Her staff are beyond excellent, most importantly both she and her staff have Children of their own, so when i told to them this case was my life.. they really understood me both as a parent and as a Law firm.. She definitely is not afraid to "smash heads" with Lawyers and does not put up with any "BS" in or out of Court. My final bill was 1/3 less then any other quotes i got, they let me pay in installments, i honestly don't have enough room to type how much i love her and her staff, Thank you so much Annette! Love you guys!

I showed up for a appointment and was told that the lawyer who does all the cas wasn't even there...no one from the office called to tell me tht I itook the bus from the south end of barrie!!!. Complete waste of time!

Annette and her staff made this whole court process so much easier for me and they charged me half of what my original lawyer did. They were easy to coomunicate with and even remembered to wish my son a Happy Birthday which I found was a nice touch. Would hire them again if I need to although I hope I wont need to.

Annette is very knowledgeable and very accessible. Her staff are extremely friendly and easy to deal with. I was very stressed about attending court but Annette was very compationate and understanding. She would always explain each step along the way. I would definitely use her services again if needed.

Annette was extremely helpful for me during my proceedings. She was efficient and worked around my schedule, which is pretty hectic as a single mother to 3 boys. Her rate was fair, and at the end she got the job done. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a smart Attorney which they can trust and rest assure that they are being handled professionally.
