Tough tough tough. I had a DUI charge where I met with several lawyers advising me to plead guilty. A duty counsel reviewed my case and referred it to Ken who is a senior duty counsel. He took one look at my disclosure and set trial. During trial he magically got the cop to admit things about my case. It was really something else to watch him in action. Afterwards the judge took less than 5 minutes to say NOT GUILTY. This man is an excellent lawyer

If your looking for a lawyer who will be your voice and one that is heard, I recommend Kenneth Jim. My case was not only dealt with in a matter of a few months, the case was dismissed for domestic assault. He did his research to present to the judge, analyzed the flaws in my case, and provided me with the support I needed during one of the most difficult times of my life. Kenneth Jim will listen to you, communicate with you and speak on your behalf. Because of Kenneth Jim, I have been able to move forward with my life and leave behind the people that were draining my energy and focus on my priorities. Thank you so much Kenneth. Says he cares about justice but loves the sound of his own voice. Talks a lot and puts on a good show. But he did get my charges diverted but only after I did some crazy volunteer work upfront. Should of plead guilty to end things quickly. Oh yeah, kept telling me not to plead guilty

Fearless lawyer. Kenneth takes the fight to the Crown. After consulting with another lawyer, I was told to plea bargain with the Crown. My friend then referred me to Kenneth. Right from the get to, he formulated his defence plan. At trial Kenneth argued that the police unreasonably stopped and searched me. The judge accepted the argument and dismissed ALL the charges. Kenneth is professional, knowledgable and great to deal with. Go to him if you want justice.

Very capable lawyer. For a legal aid lawyer, he really fights and cares. Calm and collected in court, but very prepared and ready to fight and object. I would not hesitate to refer Ken. He got 2 of my charges withdrawn without trial.

Charge dismissed. That is what the judge said at the end of the trial. Illegal search and lying police. Ken was not afraid to confront the two issues.

My charge was dismissed. No probation or nothing! Ken was sharp and well prepared. He never backed down from prosecutor who was a total b*tch. At trial Ken played my recording which trapped my ex in her stupid lies. Prosecutor objected but Ken rolled on.

Ken always wanted to research and "think" about the strategy for the file. I have anxiety so my condition made the situation worse. The one thing I will say about him though is that he was always willing to run the trial. I spoke to another Brampton lawyer who adviced me to plead guilty even though I was totally innocent. The overall picture - Ken got the charge withdrawn on trial day. He is pretty effective as he is patient and thinks a lot for the benefit of the file and client.

He only takes legal aid certificates, because he is a goverment lawyer. But he is always in your corner. He comes across as a little abbrasive, and gets annoyed easily. I was initially told to plead guilty by 2 other Brampton lawyers. But Ken took it trial for me, and WON. His style in court is the silent ninja type. I would recommend him only if you don't want to plead guilty up front.
