I just wanted some changes made to my will.....nothing very complicated. But Mr Martens seemed to have no idea what I needed, he just seemed confused. Really odd as I thought he dealt largely with wills & estates. I went to another lawyer's office & experienced no problem

I NEEDED MR.LOEWEN FOR HELP TO WRITE UP AN OFFER FOR A HOUSE PURCHASE. HE ASKED IF I HAD DOWN SOME INSPECTIONS MYSELF BEFORE I WROTE UP THE OFFER. HE SAID WOULD COULD MEET IN A COUPLE DAYS. AFTER SPENDING TIME INVESTIGATING THE HOUSE TO MY AMAZEMENT MR.LOEWEN HAD LEFT TOWN ON VACATION. NO CONTACT TO CANCEL APPT WAS MADE. THEN A BILL ARRIVED IN THE MAIL. WE LOST THE PURCHASE ON THE HOUSE.OTHER FRIENDS HAD SAID THAT POSSIBLY PUTTING IN AN OFFER WITH CONDITIONS ON THE SALE WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE APPROPRIATE.
