Wouldn't know about the knowledge as I never had a chance to see it. Total waste of money. Was charged 40 min-1.5 hrs for every email that I sent trying to get answers, most of which were left unanswered. I suppose that's a smart way to rack up billable hrs. Most frustrating experience of my life. Little resolve for my estate case which was fairly simple as far as lawyers go. Was not included on correspondence even though I insisted on it from the start. It was like pulling teeth trying to get copies of letters that went to the opposing side. Hard enough situation having just lost a family member but dealing with Gadbois made it that much worse. $5000ish for 2 letters sent to the opposing (that I wrote) that I knew of and I ended up shutting it down because trying to get simple answers was costing too much money. We were definitely not a priority and I suppose in his defense, he did warn me the few times I talked to him about how expensive he was. Seriously unprofessional.

A great lawyer and citizen, take the time to listen to clients and provide excellent service, I known Steve for years and will recommend him to anyone.He has great knowledge in family matters, employment concerns etc

I was extremely disappointed in the service provided. He took months to complete the task and at certain times, he sent back unchanged documents when specific changes were requested. His costs were astronomical based of the service provided. I would not recommend him to any one.

A horrible and unprofessional individual to deal with. Stay away. Dealt with him on closing our business, did not meet closing date deadline, refused to answer questions about withholding extra money from us and actually got physical trying to toss us out of his office. Police was called. Will be filing complaint with the Law Society of Upper Canada.
