I just finished being a surrogate for a couple. I am rejoicing more in the fact that I don't have to work with Kathleen and her office, than i am about not being pregnant anymore.
I had multiple problems working with them.
* not paying on time, she constantly got info wrong, communication was beyond awful. She also wasn't always 100% truthful to both sides. which made me and the babies parents mistrust each other a lot. All in all i will never work with her again or refer others to work with her. she is distrustful and doesn't have integrity in her job.

HAD TO TERMINATE SERVICES. We were referred to Kathleen M. McRoberts at Third Party Reproduction Law by Alicia Webster at The Gift of Surrogacy.
We had several issues dealing with Kathleen during our surrogacy which resulted in us having to fire her. Lack of communication was a big one and not returning important email questions.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND HER.

Provided excellent legal guidance during an emotional and stressful time. Her expertise was essential. I highly recommend her services.

Kathleen is so passionate about what she does and it shows in her work. We left the hospital with our baby and she told us when all the work was complete so we could order a new birth certificate.

Unprofessional, slow.... but we used her 4 times neverthless because she is significantly cheaper than anyone else. Used her for surrogacy contract 3 times. She missed the "deadline" by 2 weeks the first time, was late again the 2nd time. The 3rd time I told her I'd pay her an extra $150 if she had the contract to me by the time it was due. She told me that wouldn't be necessary- but still got it to me about 10 days late. Then we needed a pre-birth order. I told my husband that I knew that if we used her she wouldn't get it done on time. Even though I sent about 8-10 emails reminding her 6-8 month into the pregnancy that I needed the PBO, we still didn't get it in time. Would i use her again? probably yes because of the money savings and the fact that you still get to have your baby in the end. but it is a good thing my fertility clinic ignored their own deadline on the contract 3 times. unprofessional, unreliable but cheap.
