I'm finally almost finished with probation; I got extremely lucky each time during my sentencing mainly because I got the best lawyer in the world. What matters to me the most in my life are my three children, our home, health and freedom and Mr. Allegra always believed in me when not even one other single person in the world did. I honestly can't even thank him and his firm enough they have done so much to help me plead my case to the court so that therefore I wouldn't have to go to jail instead, I was able to have my side of the facts said and filed so that I could be home with my children. I felt like the entire world was up against me but only Mr. Allegra knew how to help me by representing me in court and I thank God that he did, for the sake of my children and my truths. For the life of me I can’t understand the excellent ratings. I’m looking at the grammar and syntax thinking it’s similar. Hmmm. Russell and his disorganized and unprofessional staff appear engaged and caring but the communication and bombastic tactics are brutal and exhausting to deal with over time. I agree with other former clients regarding billing practices being less than transparent and felt overcharged and ripped off. As others have said, the level of self absorption is stunning. Russell and Cathy are easy to like but…not to be trusted…especially if you are vulnerable.

Going to Allegra’s office was actually like two visits…first and last. Completely self absorbed staff that were venting their family issues while I was there and ignoring our mourning over my lost loved one. Unbelievable. If your looking for a professional, I’d recommend you keep looking. Like others have mentioned, their billing is suspicious. Very very greedy, self absorbed, selfish and defensive people.

Russell Allegra and his firm are very professional and courteous. Russell and his firm was there when I needed counsel and they are excellent !in regards, also very kind when you speak with them by phone or by email . I would recommend Russell and his team of staff if you need a lawyers firm to represent you for any reason at all.

I have been a client of this firm for 7 years now. Went to them for a family matter back in 2010. I went in expecting the worst as the odds were not in my favour and walked out having gotten better than I could have imagined! I have since transferred all my legal services to them.

Lawyer Russell Allegra, and his staff, including Office manager Cathy Allegra at extension 24 from 9058472300, receptionist Ashley at extension 26 were extremely rude and disorganised. They demonstrated a complete lack of respect for client privacy and taxpayer rights. This lawyer and his staff were verbally abusive and evidenced bad communication skills in multiple instances, which was a manifestation of their arrogance.

Was very clueless and relied on his inexperienced staff. did not understand that corporate structure of the business and always talked loud and rude and blamed the buyer lawyer. totally unprofessional with high fees

Mister Allegra has dealt with my matter with suck proficiency and ethical expertise. Professionalism is bar-none. I have come to this Law firm, for multiple closings as well as family matters.. This Law Firm is constistantly outstanding .. They have sold 4 of my properties over the years, as well as helped me purchase.. They have also dealt with personal family matters, with the utmost respect.. I walk into this firm and feel immediately at ease..They are outstanding in every way.. I have recommended them on many occasions, and will continue to do so.. We hired Allegra Law for a real estate transaction. I found the firm to be extremely professional and attentive. Russell Allegra spent time explaining the transaction to us including his research on title, insurance etc. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. The close went smoothly and the whole experience was very satisfying. I highly recommend the firm.

I hired Russell Allegra 5 years ago to handle my real estate transaction. He was highly efficient, honest, professional and knowledgeable.I am now ready to redo my will and I will go see Russell for assistance. Ruseell is a prime example of a lawyer who cares for his clients.

Simple real estate closing, should have been easy. His team did little to communicate the issues when the buyer was unable to close. His team failed to return calls and left us frustrated. Seemed to side with the buyer instead of following our direction. Left a bad impression, wouldn't use him again and wouldn't refer him to others.

Terrible experience. Lost our files and tried to blame his wife/law student/etc. Charge far too much for services (eventually) rendered, with no breakdown of costs. Took no responsibility for the disarray of his firm.

They didn't follow up but after several enquiries to his wife, his daughter and the law student I received a reply but not all my questions were answered. I think it was the lack of communication. First they were too busy because of his daughter's wedding and then the law clerk was on mat leave. I was also disappointed on the fees. He is way too expensive for work primarily done by the law student and his wife who is the office manager. The invoices give you a lump sum and do not actually break down how much the lawyer amount of the work done and how much the law student or law clerk was. Felt the high fee was not justified. They should have a system where we see how many hours were billed at what rate for each the lawyer, the clerk and the law student as they should be at different rates.
