I'm finally almost finished with probation; I got extremely lucky each time during my sentencing mainly because I got the best lawyer in the world. What matters to me the most in my life are my three children, our home, health and freedom and Mr. Allegra always believed in me when not even one other single person in the world did. I honestly can't even thank him and his firm enough they have done so much to help me plead my case to the court so that therefore I wouldn't have to go to jail instead, I was able to have my side of the facts said and filed so that I could be home with my children. I felt like the entire world was up against me but only Mr. Allegra knew how to help me by representing me in court and I thank God that he did, for the sake of my children and my truths. I feel like If I had any other lawyer I wouldn’t have been heard or even cared about, with Mr. Allegra I always felt safe and I always knew that I could trust him and rely on him and the Allegra law firm. For the life of me I can’t understand the excellent ratings. I’m looking at the grammar and syntax thinking it’s similar. Hmmm. Russell and his disorganized and unprofessional staff appear engaged and caring but the communication and bombastic tactics are brutal and exhausting to deal with over time. I agree with other former clients regarding billing practices being less than transparent and felt overcharged and ripped off. As others have said, the level of self absorption is stunning. Russell and Cathy are easy to like but…not to be trusted…especially if you are vulnerable.

Going to Allegra’s office was actually like two visits…first and last. Completely self absorbed staff that were venting their family issues while I was there and ignoring our mourning over my lost loved one. Unbelievable. If your looking for a professional, I’d recommend you keep looking. Like others have mentioned, their billing is suspicious. Very very greedy, self absorbed, selfish and defensive people.

Russell Allegra and his firm are very professional and courteous. Russell and his firm was there when I needed counsel and they are excellent !in regards, also very kind when you speak with them by phone or by email . I would recommend Russell and his team of staff if you need a lawyers firm to represent you for any reason at all.

Avoid at all cost. Used him for a business sale transaction that took him long time to close. Was very clueless and relied on his inexperienced staff. did not understand that corporate structure of the business and always talked loud and rude and blamed the buyer lawyer. totally unprofessional with high fees

I hired Russell Allegra 5 years ago to handle my real estate transaction. He was highly efficient, honest, professional and knowledgeable.I am now ready to redo my will and I will go see Russell for assistance. Ruseell is a prime example of a lawyer who cares for his clients.

Terrible lawyer and worst law firm ever. Very unprofessional and unorganized. Fees are ridiculous. From what I have seen his Staff do all the work adlnd he loses files. His articling student is a joke

Terrible experience. Lost our files and tried to blame his wife/law student/etc. Charge far too much for services (eventually) rendered, with no breakdown of costs. Took no responsibility for the disarray of his firm.
